My laptop keeps shutting down randomly?
I will be sitting at my computer and it will randomly shut down. And when I feel the computer it is really hot would that have anything to do with it? Or is it something else

I have an acer aspire 7736Z and it keeps randomly shutting down. I know it isn't an over heating problem because it only shuts itself off when I unplug it from the charger. Before it shuts off it says it has a full battery. Is there any way I can fix this? It shuts itself off about 20 seconds after unplugging it from the charger. Please help Thanks

It started a few weeks ago but now has gotten worse.Basically I'm minding my own business doing nothing, talking on Skype when all of a sudden the screen is black and the power goes out. Its almost as if someone pressed the power button and shut it down abruptly.I turned it back on and it worked fine for the next 12 or so hours this is just an estimate, not a fixed time . Then it shut down the same way again. This time, I couldn't turn it on without getting reboot options and then finally the blue screen.I stopped trying to turn it on after the 4th or 5th try and just left it on its back so it can cool down.I need this for school you don't know the half of it. I would LOVE if someone could please explain what's going on and what I can do about it. I've got at least until January 4th.SOMEONE PLEASE HELP Oh right, that brings up a good point.My laptop is a Gateway nv series with Windows Vista.

Help! My laptop keeps shutting down randomly...?
I have a 2 year old TOSHIBA laptop. For a couple weeks now, it likes to shut down whenever it feels like it, without me telling it to shut down. This frequently happens when I am watching a video on youtube, or tv episodes movies on various sites. Also once when I was playing nintendo emulator. This is what happens the laptop FAN starts whirring reallllly loudly, then it stops entirely and the screen goes black, and the computer completely shuts down a couple seconds later. It has done this for a while, but recently is becoming more frequent. It is getting really annoying I have never spilled any liquids on my laptop, never dropped it, and have pretty much taken great care of it. I download some anime things and emulator games and stuff. I know it has a good graphics card because when I bought this laptop I specifically asked for one that could run WoW, although I stopped playing that a couple months ago. The loud fan whirring used to happen when I was playing wow, but the computer didn't shut down, it just got really loud for a few seconds. Is this a virus? Has anyone else ever experienced this issue with their laptop? If you are a tech guru I would love to talk to you and see what you think.

I don't think its over heating, I cleaned the fan just incase. Also when it shuts down the screen has gray and slanted lines all over it. I've deleted alot of stuff and tried to virus scan it but it always shuts down before its done. Do you think its a virus? If so what do I do? If not what do you think it is?And yes it shuts down when its plugged in.

I have a T23 that i use for home recording with Cubase SX, and the bottom gets really hot sometimes and the whole computer just shuts down. Then when i turn the computer on again i can hear the fan working but the computer doesn't turn on. What can i do?
