Reliable Laptop information
My laptop keeps shutting down when playing games....this is a gaming laptop!!!?
I have an Alienware laptop from 2004....and when I play intensive 3D games, the hard drive area gets extremely hot and shuts down. I have tried to use a smaller fan to blow at the fan under the hard drive to cool it down but it sitll shut down even if the hard drive is cool. I asked Geek Squad and they said it's a hardware problem and may take weeks to be fix...Can anyone suggest of another solution that may not cost that much?I should add that everytime that I have to turn on my laptop, I have to slap it a couple of times where the hard drive area is to start it up. If I don't do it, it wont' turn on and this has been happening for a bit. And to Robert, I just bought the Xpad. And to the rest, thanks for the suggestions, I really love Yahoo for this.
Laptop keeps shutting down when playing games!!?
lately I have had trouble with my hp laptop as it completely turns of after a few minutes of playing a game without a warning or anything. This just started recently and I didnt do any changes or updates. Can you please help me cause i dont know what else to do
