Sticky laptop keyboard cleaning?
Hey I managed to spill a little bit of tea onto my new laptop's keyboard. S I tried to gently clean it up with a warm watered cloth, but it still feels sticky under the buttons. It wouldn't especially bother me if one of the sticky ones woudn't be the space button Any suggestions?

Can I get the underside of my laptop keyboard cleaned?
Ok so the underside of my laptop keyboard is due for a serious cleansing. Some of the keys even stick because of past spills and dust. I am happy that the thing still works. The only thing is that I don't trust myself to clean it on my own. Is there a place I can it to have this done? Thanks a lot

How do i turn my black keys back to black on my laptop keyboard? Cleaned them with alcohol and now they are...
My friend suggested that i clean my BLACK laptop keyboard with rubbing alcohol of course his PC keyboard is white when i did, the keys became black with a silverish white color on top of them. The man in the store says that there is nothing i can really do because the paint has probably been removed any tips out there? Ive tried things with an oil base to them and it doesnt work.

Laptop keyboard cleaning question?
My friend spilled a monster drink on my dell inspiron e1505, it wasnt a lot and it didn't make its way to the motherboard, only the keyboard. I tried my best to clean it out but it is now dry and you can hear and feel the stick under the keys. Compressed air won't help and I was wondering if I disconnect the keyboard can i rinse with water, completely dry, and wait 24 hours to fix the stickiness or is there another way?

Spilled canola oil on my laptop keyboard, cleaned, now what?
I spilled canola oil on my laptop, never keeping it close while cooking again, and I innediately turned power off, flipped it upside down over a towel. About an hour later, I took some keys off and cleaned out oil, using towel, paper towel, q tips and a bit of rubbing achohal. There's a bit of residue left, but not that much. I saw somewhere that oil is better to spill then water, since it moves slower and is less likely to drip down. Any truth to that?As a college student, i can't afford to take it anywhere, and basically need everyday for classes and homework. It's been a few hours, this is the first time I turned it back on, and all the keyes are working fine. I have no idea how to take the computer apart beyond what I've alreayd done, battery and keys. Anything I can do now?
