Where can I buy a laptop keyboard replacement?
Mine isnt working someone spilled pop on it and I know how to install them I just need to find out where I can buy them?... Its a Compaq presario CQ50

I have a dell though its fine now but r the costs of replacing the keyboard as much as a new laptop?alright so like how much could it cost getting one from dell I mean I don't want something that isn't original or some cheap fake stuff either.

How much does a laptop keyboard replacement cost?
My laptop is a Sony Vaio PCG 3J1L. A few of the keys were sticking and I read that they should be able to be removed without harm to the keyboard, so I tried removing them. On two of the keys, parts of the small plastic pieces under the key snapped off so I can't reattach them. Is there a way to replace each key separately, or should I just send the whole laptop in to have a new keyboard put on?Also, I searched online for two hours, but I couldn't find a replacement keyboard for this particular model. Is there a different Vaio model that would have a matching keyboard?Thanks in advance
Laptop keyboard replacement question?
Hello guys and computer whizes. I have a Compaq 610 laptop, few keys on it are getting harder to press due to wearing and tearing.I especially have problem with the " a" key.Although most of the keys on it are all right.Having never had this problem before, I wonder whether I have to replace my entire laptop keyboard in order to fix this relatively minor problem, or whether it is possible to fix just those portions of the keyboard which is no longer working properly? If both solutions exist, is there a substantial cost difference between the two?And regardless of the answer, how am I to procede with this repairing? Does HP provide replacement keyboard indvidual keys for this purpose? Any knowledge on the above would be highly appreciated.Thanks. Frederik I didn't get your answer. I use the laptop for typing a lot and do require all the keys from a z, so there is no way I can just remove one of those keys and put it on the " a" key. As for the rest of the keys, they aren't exactly symmetrical to the " a z" keys, so I don't think just replacing the " a" key with one of them would go down well. And over and above, I don't know how whether this " a" key not working properly is just a key cap problem or a mechanism problem inside rubber button which resides inside the keycap . Kyle I'd prefer a local shop here to ebay anytime given my experience on that site. Does anyone actually know whether HP provides for individual key replacement in their various desginated service centres?
Laptop keyboard replacement issues.?
I have a dell inspiron 1525 and I spilled a sticky orange beverage on it and as a result, had to replace the keyboard myself . The installation went beautifully and when I powered it up, it worked On that " Start Windows Normally" screen However, when I reached Vista, sign in and whatnot it didn't work. I restarted it with exactly the same results. It seems to be a driver issue, although my computer says it's up to date, and I have no idea what drivers I would need to install Can someone please help me? I'm so tired of typing with this On Screen Keyboard crap.

Scenario I spilled drinking water on laptop keyboard. I quickly removed the power cord and battery and left the laptop upside down for two days. I plugged the laptop back in but it would not power up. I saw a lot of tutorials that outlined how to replace a keyboard. Is the laptop salvageable since it would not power up?
