Replacement laptop keys?
Hello, i have accidently snapped a laptop key when wiping my hand across the keybored i am wondering if there is any trusted siters that i can go to for a replacement the laptop is a samsung r540, i cang find any sites, they either look like they're scam site or they just dont have my laptop model...please help I forgot to mention i need it to be a uk site please
My laptop keys are broken?
They're not really broken as in where it doesn't function. It still works because when i press on a key something a letter pops up. But some of my letters on my keyboard type something else than what they're supposed to. Like for example, I press the j and it types in a 1. If it helps I have an Asus EEEPC hab1201thanks for the help
My laptop keys aren't working correctly.?
I have an HP Pavilion dv7. Recently my keys have been messing up. When I press the space bar " zc" is printed. When I press enter, " " is typed. Backspace produces " " and options for screen changes comes up. The down, right, left, and up keys are also producing weird characters and numbers.Is there any way I can fix this without any pricey fixes? Or is my computer pretty much effed?
Sometimes my laptop keys don't type?
I have an HP laptop, a Pavilion. I got this laptop in June of 2011, so it's a fairly new computer. Sometimes, the keys don't type and instead preform an alternate function for no reason that I can tell. The " d" key will bookmark whatever page I was on, and the " f" key will start the find function, and the backspace erases entire words. If the keys can't preform an alternate function, they simply refuse to work.The only way I can fix this, it seems, is restarting my computer. But why is this happening? Is there something I can do to make this stop entirely? How do I fix this? Should I take it to be fixed? What's going on?
Ok, so i spilt coke on my laptop keys but i removed the keys and no coke was underneath, is it okay?
I spilt a bit of coke on some of my keys on my laptop. I dried it and turned my laptop off. I then removed some of the keys where the coke had gone and they were completly dry Does this mean my laptop is okay?
How do I get my laptop keys to stop pressing numbers?
I have a IBM Lenovo and I need to type up a school project. So I go to word and start typing, but instead of typing letters it types numbers. Let my specify, the letters U I O P L K J & M all have tiny numbers under them except for P which has a . When typing only those numbers come up on the screen. How do I stop that?BTW just in case someone wants to be stupid. I'm only 14. This Is my first laptop and I've only had it for a few months. Also I'm submitting this from my phone.
Gateway laptop keys not working?
so i accidentally spilled wine on my laptop... it was working fine... then all the sudden the y key and the < key is not working.... everything else works fine... can someone help me do I need to get it fixed?... or is a physical problem?

Cat ripped off four laptop keys and now none of the keys work?
My cat ripped off four laptop keys on my computer when I was asleep. When I press on the rubber nubs they don't work and when I press any other key it just makes a quiet click noise but nothing happens. I can still navigate the computer fine but can't type anything. Is this fixable?

Laptop Key Replacement - HP dv7 quad edition?
Can someone tell me how to remove a key from a HP Pavilion dv7 quad edition laptop? I can't find any videos or articles telling me how the hinges look like on this laptop keyboard, and I don't want to risk breaking it by prying it open with a screw driver.
Laptop keys not working?
I can't figure out why some of my keys suddenly don't work anymore specifically the backspace and left shift key . It's been this way for about two months now, and having to backtrack and hit the delete key every time I make a mistake is really driving me crazy. It's not the key itself, because it doesn't appear to be broken. I can remove the keys and press down on the little spring but nothing happens. Is there anything I can do for my poor laptop? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
