How much would a laptop LCD screen replacement cost?
It's a Dell Inspiron 1545. Model No PP41L. I don't have a warranty.I can't even see the start up windows page to log in to my account. There's blue & other color horizontal lines across the screen. Some one told me it would cost a lot to get a new screen, I just want to see what people think on here. & if it'd be better if I just bought a new laptop. Even though I bought the Dell last February. I live in the San Diego Area & I bought it at Wal Mart. Honestly, the lady didn't really explain what the warranty covers, she just asked me if I wanted to get one with it. I guess I will have to buy a new one.I did that, went to the Dell website & put in the service tag. It said I have until Feb 19. I thought it wouldn't cover the type of damage my laptop has but I will try now. Thanks a lot.
