Why are my Gateway laptop lights on top of the keyboard not turning on?
ok i was on m laptop with out the charger plugged in i looked at my battery life icon in the lower left corner to see how much i had left it said 11min and then it just shut down i plugged in the charger and some of the lights that usually turn on at the top of the key board are turned off the touch buttons and then i go to my battery life icon thing it says " consider replacing your battery" did the battery mess up my laptop????

I have an Asus F9SG series laptop and for some reason my laptop's built in webcam light turned on. Now I don't know how to turn it off and I tried restarting, but it comes back on. I am not using my webcam and the light is really bright and annoying. My function keys don't work so Fn B doesn't work. What do I do?
How to turn laptop light on?
Okay, so I own a Dell Inspiron 1535, and a few days ago something happened to it and the laptop lights seemed to turn off I am sorry, I am not really tech savvy, so I don't know what it's called exactly, but it's basically the screen's light not the actual screen itself, that's fine, just the lights . Anyways, It's pretty much turned off permanently now... I thought I might have burnt something, but I realize after a while that the light IS on when I turn my laptop on, it just turns off when windows finishes starting up.So yeah now I want to try and turn it back on and have it remain on... anyone know the solution? So just to be clear the light IS working, it just refuses to stay on after window starts up.
Laptop light blacks out?!?
When i open up my laptop the light is bright as usual and then it blacks out, i could still see wats on the monitor but its so dark i have to put a very bright light on top of it to see. can someone please help me?

Keyboard (Laptop) Lights won't come on?
I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC and my lights won't go on. I know that I have lights because when testing out the demo laptop at the store the exact same laptop had the keyboard lights on. but I haven't been able to turn them on. I read from a form online that if you press the FN key and tap the space bar, it enables or disables the lights and I have the FN key and the space bar key, haha and I've pressed it and it still won't turn on. Any ideas? Thank you so much
Laptop lights come on but black screen! HELP?
I have a HP pavillion dv5 1002nr when plugged it all the lights come on but the screen is black and won't do anything. I have tried reseating the memory cards and have tested each memory module but still nothing is working. What else can I try? Help
