Accidentally reset Kingston laptop lock combo?
I just got a Kingston laptop lock with a combination and coiled cable. When I was messing with it trying to figure out how to use it, I think I accidentally reset the combination and I have no clue what I set it too. It's not locked to my laptop or anything but I would really like to be able to still use the lock so is there any way I can reset the combination without knowing the current combination?

Toshiba laptop locking problem?
i have a laptop by toshiba, but everytime i bring it out of standby, it says " this computer is in use and has been locked " how can i change it so it does not lock when i bring it out of standby? cos its very annoying thanks Dno what i mean is it asks me for my password to unlock it, how can i change the settings so it dosent lock when it goes on standby?
My laptop locks itself after 60 seconds?
when my laptop is left idle it locks on its own i have checked the power plans and screen saver settings but its all ok.....i have no idea why my laptop locks when its idle for 60 seconds.......Btw i use an acer laptop with vista it locks itself in the sense i leave it idle for 60 secs and it locks on its own......when i say locks itself i mean like it locks it self just like when u choose lock from the start menu....how do i check if the sleep or hibernate has been set to 60 secs...

Hi. I need a lock for keeping my laptop safe at college this fall. I've never used one before, and I've started to research them but I need a little help. My laptop has a spot for a lock with an icon that is a closed lock with a " K" on it. I've determined that K is for Kensington, so is that the only brand I can use? Also, any suggestions on where to find a decent one for maybe $20? Thanks for any suggestions.

Laptop Lock key missing! what do i do?!?
I'm a college student and my lanyard got stolen last night with my school ID, credit and debit cards, room key and laptop lock. Don't lecture me to cancel my credit debit card, I have that under control. I have a new ID and a new room key. However, the one thing that isn't recoverable is my laptop lock key. How do I get my laptop lock unlocked without the key...? I can't find the spare.
