What laptop manufacturers offer solid-state hard drives as an option?
Why are laptop manufacturers still putting intake fans on the BOTTOM of the laptop?
At least they could put it on the back or sides where the connectors are.
Do any laptop manufacturers have an option for numpad on the LEFT side of the keyboard?
I'm looking for a high end gaming laptop, so cost isn't the first factor though I won't blow $2K or more on it . I am right handed ... but my right hand is for mousing. I macro all my keybinds to my numpad, but I keep it on the left. I know that if I can't find this that I can just get a good laptop with no numpad and use an external one, but I'd rather do it the other way if at all possible.
Are the Intel i7processors 32nm out yet for laptop manufacturers?
What are some american laptop manufacturers?
Who are the top 5 laptop manufacturers?
Are laptop manufacturers selling laptops with CCFL LCD screens anymore?
Preferably, I'm looking for a laptop with a 17 inch screen, but 15 inches would be ok too. LCD screens with LED backlights give me headaches, but CCFL backlights don't.
What laptop manufacturers still produce laptops with resolution >1366x768 and <1920x1080?
I find that you can't really fit much on a 1366x768 screen, but 1920x1080 results in the pixel pitch being too small on a laptop sized screen. Are there any laptop manufacturers left that still produce laptops with a more sensible medium resolution?
Why don't laptop manufacturers all switch to flash memory?
I don't know too much about this subject,so if anyone can give me the reason why all laptops aren't made with flash memory instead of a hard drive, I'd really appreciate it. I know flash memory is faster, uses less energy, is cooler and quieter, and it doesn't get easily scratched and ruined when you carry them around like normal hard drives do. Please explain, I've been trying to figure this out, but I can't haha.I guess flash is slightly more expensive, but it seems like there'd at least be a larger number of flash based laptops. Only ones I know of are the Cr 48 and Macbook Air
Why all the laptop manufacturers have started making shiny screens?
shiny screens are bd for the eyes as there is a lot of reflection.....matt finish were much better.

What are ways you think laptop manufacturer's can improve their laptops, customer satisfaction and build?
Apple has a great business because customer's are satisfied with their product because they are well built, don't break down easily and include what is absolutely necessary nothing extraneous.I think laptop manufacturers should adopt some of these ideas if not all and not only in their most exclusive models1 Use slot load optical drives, they make laptops thinner and weigh less. Most people love thinner products and most review magazines sites which influence MANY customer decisions slam laptops for being thick. P.S. There are no low profile blu ray drives, they increase laptop bulk size apple knows this and aren't willing to sacrifice mobility thinness for one asset and they make revenue from itunes 2 Transition into using usb 3.0 ports quicker self explanatory 3 Stop including VGA ports on laptops, they add unnecessary thickness and HDMI gets the job done for most people and HDMI cables are less bulky. In conjunction combine esata with usb ports.4 Stop including unnecessary modem ports. who realistically needs that anymore. companies like hp, lenovo, dell include that on almost all laptops, useless port that no business or regular user needs5 offer antiglare screen options self explanatory6 stop using sluggish, small or buggy trackpads. Lenovo utilizes ridiculously small trackpads with way too many buttons that nobody really wants needs and hp trackpads scream get a mouse.7 stop designing products to fail so people buy more, doesn't work consumers will just turn to other brands the auto industry learned this the harsh way
Highest Quality PC Laptop Manufacturer?
I'm in the market for a gaming laptop to replace my gaming desktop. I'm traveling more for work, and I refuse to be bored in the hotel rooms with nothing but the TV. I recently purchased a G73 model ASUS gaming laptop but immediately had to return it because it started crashing right out of the box. The screen would go grey after about 20 minutes into anything gaming or movie oriented. I looked up the issue online, and it turned out to be a fairly common issue. I know ASUS has a good reputation overall, but that experience really rubbed me the wrong way.My question to you is this I would like to know who everyone thinks offers the best build quality when it comes to laptops. I've heard that MSI has gotten better, and I know a lot of people swear by ASUS. Are there any other good gaming laptop companies out there? And if so where would you suggest I shop? I've hear AVADirect.com is a good site. Thanks in advance
