Can you switch laptop memory cards with another laptop memory card?
I want to take out the memory card in my old laptop and put it in my new laptop, so I can get my files back. Is it possible to switch laptop memory cards and would I still have my files when the old memory is on the new laptop?
Upgrading my laptop memory?
Want to upgrade my memory. I have samsung np rv 515 a01us. I called them and they say they have no record of what kind of ram it takes in their system nor do any sites like crucial or kingston.It works nothing damaged and was brand new when I got it at bestbuy for 350 dollars. But just curious so I took bottom plate cover off housing memory and hard drive to take a peek. This is the part number. m471b5273ch0 ch9But cpu z says ddr3. Samsung MV 3T4G4is the same part number except on the top H0 instead of F2. And samsung's website says it is ddtr 2. But best buy says ddr 3. I'm looking for a new laptop and have had some issues with my past laptops on space. I've heard that Intel cores are good, but I have no idea what I should be looking for. I am a photographer, so I save lots of pictures on my laptop. I also do videos and music. Just an FYI, the programs I have on my laptop now, are Photoshop, GIMP, Photoshop Topaz, Photoshop Lightroom, Adobe After Effects, Corel Video Studio Pro, FL Studio 10, and other things that are taking up a lot of space. According to my Hard Disk Drive, it states that I only have 13 GB out of 287 GB of space left. I plan on adding a lot more, but obviously can't because of space. My laptop also seems to run slow this is when I first got it before installing anything to, so I know it's not a virus . It's a Toshiba and two Toshibas I had were crap. I don't know if it's because I spent less than 500 on them, or what. Please send me any suggestions and ask any questions that might assist you on helping me make my final decision. I'm looking to go to Best buy tomorrow, so I would prefer to see answers tonight if possible. Thanks in advance guysI'm trying to stay away from really expensive laptops though. I know MACs go for a lot, don't they? Plus, I heard that MACs really limit the software and programs you can downloadI don't know how to respond to answers, so I'm putting them here. Thanks for all the input. So in general, what laptop would you all suggest? I was looking at ones with Intel corei5 and i7 with in between 4 6GB or 400 500GB and maybe around 2.60 HGZ. Is this good enough for my needs?

Constantly Saving to Laptop Memory?
I have been told that possibly the reason my laptop is running so slow is because it is constantly saving to memory. I have defraged, cleared temp files, taken unwanted items from the disk, cleared some startup progs and upgraded to 2GB of memory. Is there a way to stop the laptop continually saving to disk so I can get it to run faster? Thanks

Laptop memory is corrupt, can't install or un-install anything help please?
Sorry about any grammar or punctuation errors in advance. Anyway while my laptop was installing some updates a few days ago my brother forced it to shut down by holding down the power button and it has come up with a few errors,sidebar.exe Bad Image C Windows system32 sfc.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. TOSCDSPD.exe Bad Image C program files TOSHIBA TOSCDSPD cmdpst.dll So i Googled these errors and different websites said different things. They said, download a fixer so it can scan through my computer to fix files, downloaded it 100 % but then it ended by saying its not a vaild win32 application. System recovery, tried it apparently i dont have the right file, sometimes it too also comes up with the win32 error. I tried to right click on the hard drive and scan for errors not a single thing happens, no error or sign of it trying to start scanning. Downloading files to replace the current damaged ones, it too comes up with invalid win32 application. I tried installing updates but it comes up with error code 800700c1. I can't un install anything, it just comes up with the file is missing even though its right there.My laptop is a toshiba TEMPRO with windows vista. I can get a memory wipe for 26 so its not expensive i'd just rather just try to fix it first. Any help would be appreciated and if you want any more information just ask.i have tried to boot system restore or re install, by going to the boot screen i followed all the steps till my laptop immediately reset. Thank you for the help do you have any other suggestions?
