Are there any laptop motherboards without integrated graphics cards?
My laptop is well what you would say not so good for gaming and I was going to get a nvidia motherboard but I was wondering if they make laptop motherboards with a removable graphics card.
Are laptop motherboards interchangeable?
Okay, so I fried my motherboard on my Toshiba Satellite L635 laptop. The part number is " V000245010" , which I can barely find anywhere. I have been able to find the " V000245100" that appears to be the CPU on other laptops in the L635 series. In the pictures I have seen in various places the two parts look the same, so that leads me to believe that the " 100" will fit instead of the " 010" , especially since they are merely one number off. Am I totally wrong in thinking this?
What chemical will break down the red epoxy resin on hp laptop motherboards?
does anyone know what chemical will break down the red epoxy resin that secures the graphics chip to laptop motherboards, normally hp compaq ones. i have tried isopropynol, acetone and domestic cleaning fluids but cant seem to find anything that works. these chips are sometimes so hard to get off because of this awfull resin.ThanksI have used hot air and it does go brittle and most of it can be removed as it crumbles away into dust but there is always some underneath the chip that i cant get off
Dell Laptop Motherboard?
So my sister and i have the exact same laptop, a Dell Inspiron 1570. Im not sure what exactly is wrong with it but im thinking it could be the motherboard or the monitor, maybe someone can help me.The power light that indicates when its on or charging is usually on when the laptops on and all but when we try to turn it on it turns white like usual but then it goes right back to orange and doesnt turn on at all. What could be the problem?
Laptop Motherboard Heating Problem!?
1. My laptop Motherboard, and CPU temperature under Hwmonitor is 75C, and GPU 65C after fully loaded, which i excessive high. But my ambigious about how come when i touch my laptop it wasnt warm hot at all. Is CPUID accurate? 2. Normally, how much temperature increase for Motherboard, CPU, GPU after fulled loaded compare to idle temperature?Please let me know. ThksOf course, the fan is running after loaded.
Toshiba Laptop Motherboards for sale?
I need to replace a laptop MB, and I am having difficulty finding one. The part number is v000148410. I keep finding similar boards, but they have different colour CPU slots than the one I have. As luck has it the day before I started this great search, one was sold on eBay, and since then I am unable to find one in this country and at the right price Would anyone know of anywhere I could find MBs for sale at a reasonable price Not the same price as a new laptop Thanks
Laptop motherboard DC adapter?
my laptop's motherboard DC adapter broken. i bring it to the repair shop, they tried to change a new one but it still doesnt work. they said it broke somewhere in the motherboard maybe. but when my battery still have the electric in, it on and running find. i have to change a new motherboard because the repair guy siad he cant fix it. is anyone know how to charge the batter manual or fix itplesae help thank, i ran out the budget so i dont have enough money to buy a new motherboard ASUS G50v
Laptop motherboard corrosion?
Hello, About 3 months ago, I spilled water over the keyboard of my laptop. As the result, the keyboard got " jammed" , the computer went bonkers because it kept getting all these commands that would supposedly come from the keyboard. I disconnected the keyboard, and began using a USB one from that point on. Aside from that defect, the laptop went back to functioning just as well as it did before the spill. Fast forward 3 months, it suddenly began operating at real slow speeds, freezing and taking a while to boot up. Then, after letting it sit for a couple of days completely shut off, it went back to working just fine for a while and then at some point later slow back down again. After a forced shut down, it refused to boot back up for a day or so. It would show the first screen with the brand logo, then switch to a black screen with a blinking cursor and not go on to the next steps of the starting up process. After a forced shut off and being left alone for about a day, it would boot up just fine afterwards for a while, until the day that it stopped booting up altogether. I sent it off the the brand's service center Lenovo and got a call back saying that corrosion was found on the motherboard, which now needs to be replaced. Though I did pour all the water out of the keyboard, I didn't, to my stupidity, dissemble it any further to dry up properly. Either way, the laptop did work just fine for 3 months onwards after the spill and the process of its crashing was gradual. If the main problem is, in fact, corrosion, wouldn't the laptop stop starting up all at once, not deteriorate in terms of performance in steps, over a course of a 2 weeks or so? Any chance that I'm getting duped by the Lenovo people? Thank you for advice.Sure, corrosion can lead to failure of the motherboard. But is it possible for the computer performance to deteriorate gradually ? I've assumed that with corrosion it would either function or not function no in between.
How can I find my laptops motherboard type (windows 7)?
I recieved a new laptop for my birthday and I thought it would be a good Idea to update it for my needs. I have a Compaq Presario CQ56 115DX notebook running windows 7 64 bit. It is currently running with an AMD V140 2.30 GHz processor with 2 GB of memory installed.I need to know the motherboard number of my Laptop in order to find out what processors are compatible with my laptop. I searched the HP website and could not find the motherboard information on my laptop. Where can I find the motherboard type without opening up my laptop ? thanks for the help
Laptop Motherboard Replaced, lots of issues are starting to occur?
I recently had to fork out money to replace the motherboard on my Compaq Presario CQ61 as one of my moron flatmates spilt a drink on it.I've had it back a day or two now and I'm noticing everything is a little sluggish. Windows explorer consistently crashes and opening video files or trying to access anything on the taskbar has a lag time of about 10 20 seconds before anything happens.The time and date are also very slow, I reset the clock to the correct time and it starts slowing down, I reset it at about 4pm today, it currently thinks it's 6.05 when in fact it is now 3am....Could these symptoms come from the new motherboard that was installed? Should I take my laptop back to the repair shop and ask them to fix it? They offered me a warranty of a month or two The replacement motherboard was used, and I imagine the CMOS battery has run down which explains the time problem, I'm mainly concerned at how slow my machine has become Any advice would be helpfulThanksSearle
Toshiba Laptop Motherboard differences?
I have been looking for a while for a Toshiba L350D Laptop Motherboard v000148410 model, and have had no luck. I recently found a MB for an L350D with model number V000148020. Can anyone tell me if there is much difference between boards, like with the CPU from the first work in the second. I need this to fix it for someone.Any help appreciated.
