Virus casing laptop mouse and keyboard to stop working?
So, i was downloading movies....with an out of dateanti virus. Stupid...yes. but let's move past that pointas there were extenuating circumstances at the time.What I noticed was my computer wouldn't let meclose my tabs by clicking on the X. I had to go tofile...and click " close tab" .Then at home the computer battery died so I restartedit. Suddenly the mouse and keyboard stoppedworking. I plug in my usb mouse and board but onlythe mouse works. It says that the computer can't finddriver info for the keyboard. So I buy a new board.Same issue.Obviously I have a few viruses. I have scanned anddone whatever and thought this was fixed before thekeyboard went out. How do I fix this without akeyboard? I'd factory reset but idk if i can without akeyboard. I'm currently burning my movies to disk soI don't lose em all.....but info for what to do whenI'm done burning my movies would be helpful oranything I can try without losing my movies would begreat.Fyi, the usb mouse DOES work but I have no keyboardSadly, I did that. Malwarebytes says I have no more viruses. Long scan came out clean. I had avira scan, it found 22 or more viruses and I quarantined them. Restarted computer. No go. Can't even install a usb keyboard says something about the inf file not found. sigh
I spilt water on my laptop mouse pad and now the audio system doesn't work even when I plug my headphones in?

My keyboard was bumped and since then my mouse is stuck in the middle of the screen and won't move. When I try to move it sometimes or show a magnifying glass or a circle with white arrows. I can only imagine its a button I bumped. Please help

The other day I shut down my computer normally like always and the next day when i got back on it. It seemed like my mouse was being stopped by an invisible barrier and just clicking things when i wasnt clicking on them. How to fix a laptop mouse after it got spilled on?
A small amount of soda was spilled onto the built in mouse in my laptop. I quickly wiped the spill up but some seeped into the crack. I was very fortunate that there was no electronic damage, however the mouse sticks terribly now. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?
Laptop mouse pad not working.?
Okay I got my laptop a while ago lets say about a year. And 6 months after I got it the mouse pad started to act funny. to this day it does not follow my finger and when i touch it it goes away from what Om trying to click. BUTTTTT when I shut my laptop and open it back up it tends to stop doing it I don't need anything else but what you think amy be causing the problem. ps my warrenty has expired

My laptops mouse is not working?
Hi everyone,I have an asus x53e laptop with windows 7, which I bought brand new 2 months ago. Yesterday the mouse was a bit dodgy and kept freezing and not responding, so i shut it down. Today I turned it on, and it worked for a few minutes but then started playing up again. The mouse moves around fine and the right hand mouse pad button also works, but when i click the the left hand clicking button, nothing happens.Any suggestions anyone?
Laptop mouse pad won't work!?
It's been like this for about 2 days already. Randomly while I was using it, it stopped working. When I touch the pad, it's unresponsive and doesn't work at all and neither do the clickers. I can't get in to my laptop either since it's password protected. I have the option of fingerprint to get in however, the light decides to not come on sometimes so I can't use that to even log in. I have a USB wireless mouse but it doesn't seem to work. I don't think it needs batteries at all since I don't see any space to put them. I think I would need to be at least logged in for it to be able to install and be ready to use anyways. Which I can't Someone PLEASE help
Toshiba Laptop Mouse Not Working?
For years now my scroll pad doesnt work. I un installed the mouse device, then installied it again and restarted my computer about three times. It still doesn't work and I'm stuck using a USB mouse. Please, tell me if I need something to download, install, enable... disable? I am not sure what my laptop is exactly called but its an old verson I think 2009? and says Satellite. And YES, I have tried the fn F9 thing and it didnt work.
