Tv to laptop no sound...just got the earfone jack cable but still no sound through tv...help?
got great picture on tv from laptop...got told to get jack to jack cable for sound....got that today but still no sound from tv...any ideas?
Toshiba satellite c650 laptop no sound?
sound was working fine this morning, just tried to play music on youtube and there is no sound. checked the obvious, volume levels, muted etc. all ok. i then tried using my headphones and the sound works fine through them im a bit confused
When i turn on laptop no sound comes but after restarting sound starts coming.What should I do?

Acer laptop no sound from right speaker?
I just ordered an Acer Aspire 5742 6643 laptop and I just received it today. However, when I went to listen to music, I only heard it from the left side of the laptop left speaker . All the sound that comes out only comes out of the left speaker, can anyone tell me a way to fix the right speaker? Thanks
On laptop no sound from speakers but sound from headphones.?
Last night i plugged my headphones into my laptop to listen to music. No problems. Today i wanted to listen to music from my laptop without using heaphones just using the speakers and i go to play the music and no sound comes out. i believe that the headphones may now be the default music player but i have no idea how to change it back. any ideas would be appreicatedd x x

i have monitor to monitopr lead... great picture..... i have jack to jack lead but have a connector on the end to go to the white and red aux input socket on the back of the tv... still no sound and just wandering if there is any settings i need to change on my laptop or tv to recognise the sound change... please help
HP Laptop-no sound..?
Im not very good with laptops . I have tried everything but the sound wont work. Ive tried putting headphones into the laptop but it doesnt work. if i press a button by mistake it will beep so obviously there is some sound in it but if i try youtube or itunes it doesnt work ? in the right hand corner it shows the speaker but has a red X over it and i dont have it on mute . it wont let me open the volume mixer from the right hand corner ..when i click on the speaker it say 'no audio output device is installed' ..
HP Compaq Laptop. No sound.?
I have a HP Compaq Windows Vista Laptop. I have no sound. The only way I can have sound is if I use head phones. I have tried searching for a ton of different ways to fix this but nothing is working. PLEASE HELP I'd love to avoid a costly route.

I reinstalled windows vista and uninstalled, updated, reinstalled all sound drivers but i cannot get sound from the speakers. When I plug my earphones into the jack I can get sound. Any suggestions?

i have a Toshiba Satelite laptop which i only got a few months ago. around a week ago, the sound stopped working and a little x appeared on the speaker symbol appeared in the right hand bottom corner. i went to fix it, and it says i have no audio output device installed, but somehow before i did, i was able to play music on the laptop and sound would come out of the built in speakers.what is wrong with the laptop?

Hey guys, thanks in advance for help with my question.I have a Toshiba satellite l650 Laptop.I accidently unplugged my speakers from my headphone jack in the laptop. Sound has been working fine for months, it isn't a hardware issue updates etc I went to re plug but now i have 1. no sound from my speakers and 2. no sound from the laptop speakers when the cable isnt plugged in.It isnt muted, all devices are working properly control panel> sound> speakers and yet i have no soundWhat on earth has just happened?Cheers I've also system restored and i still have no sound I've restarted mutiple times
