Why is my laptop not charging in my car cigerette lighter ?
Sony laptop not charging?
I have a sony E series notebook laptop and its just 2 years old. When i tried turning it on this morning it wouldn't turn on. So I plugged in the battery and it said 0 % charging, plugged in even though its not charging. It was working fine last night idk what happened.. and if the battery pin came out accidently it will just shut down cause its just on 0 %.. Need help thanks guys
Problems with Toshiba laptop not charging?
I don't know if something is wrong with my laptop, its battery or if its my charger that is having problems, but I just want to know about how much it would cost to get fixed or to replace the battery if need be. Also, does anybody have an idea what's wrong? I've had it for about 3 years and yesterday, it just stopped charging out of nowhere. I tried plugging it into many different outlets and wiggling the cord to see if it would do anything, but nothing helped and the charging light on my laptop doesn't light up. The charger is also a bit lop sided at the point where it goes into the laptop jack and has been since I got it could that be the problem? Any input would be great Since it is my laptop, my parents will not get it fixed so I have to pay for it myself, so please think of cheaper solutions for now Like a cheaper place than Best buy I would google it myself but i'm stuck with using my phone internet right now which isn't too good And doesn't allow me to use enter return so sorry about that
Why is my Dell laptop not charging?
I have a Dell laptop that i got for Christmas. When i start my computer it says i need a dell 65W adapter or higher. On the charger i have it says 90W. When i scroll my mouse over the battery icon, it says " 2 % remaining, plugged in but not charging" . When i plug in the charger, it gives me the same message as when i start my computer, but the screen lights up. Also, the weird thing is although it says it is not charging, the computer never goes into hibernation. Please help.

EMachines laptop not charging?
I have an emachines E442 V429 laptop and it will only charge when the power is completley turned off. If i try to plug the power cord in while it's on, all the lights on the laptop blink really fast and the battery doesn't charge. I know it's the laptop that has a problem, not the charger.. so would it be a fairly easy repair or is it more of a complicated hard drive type problem? thanks
Why is my laptop not charging? Help?
I own a Dell Inspiron 1545 and for the past few months I've noticed it wasn't charging. All that shows up when I hover the mouse over the little battery in the corner of the screen is " plugged in, not charging" . I took it to a computer specialist and he said it could be that it needs a new battery, so I went online and bought one and the new one still says " plugged in, not charging" . It's really aggravating because everytime I want to unplug it from the charger whatever's left of the battery continues to drain. I'm currently down to 17 % batttery life and I can't take my laptop anywhere to do my school work because it needs to stay plugged in on my desk. It's not even that old either, I bought it back in 2009. Does anyone know what could be wrong with it?
Alienware laptop not charging?
ok so this started hapening recently and the laptop has never had any other problems really. when i turn on the laptop it says WARNING LAPTOP ALMOST OUT OF BATTERY. or something similar. and i hit F1 and keep going and when i get logged in and everything on my task bar where it tells me my battery it says 0 % available plugged in not charging . Is there a way for me to make it charge again? its getting power from the cord but it just wont charge the battery? this just randomly started happening one day any ideas on how to fix it? ill try anything really. also its an Mx15 and only about a year old so its still pretty new and i could care less about if you like them or who makes the > XD i just want someone to tell me how to get it to charge again

Laptop not charging, need help!?
I have a Toshiba L500D and the light indicating it is charging does not turn on when I plug it in. Occasionally if I wiggle the power cord around it will flick on for 1 or 2 seconds. I think it has something to do with the DC jack, since it also wiggles around in it's socket. Has anyone had a similar problem? Or knows how to fix it and how much it will cost?Thanks

Why does my laptop not charge anymore?
I have my laptop plugged into the charger but the laptop doesn't charge. I don't know whether it's the laptop, charger, or battery. I have had my laptop for a year and it's been buggin out for a week. I usually charge my laptop even though it's fully charged so I think it's the charger, but idk. Please help, thank you
Laptop not charging unless i hold it in place?
My gateway laptop isn't charging and i think its the charger. I have recently replace the battery. To get it to charge i have turn the thing around before it shows red. What is the real problem because i want a permanent fix.

when i plug the charger into my laptop the charging signal isnt lighting up and it is not charging at all ,if a push the cable in harder then the lite will come on and it will charge until i let go and it stops again ,i dont know whether its the charger or the bit inside where the charger is connected ,any ideas ,also when this first happend the laptop wasnt chargin and the charger was stuck inside the laptop and had to be pulled out with quite a bit of force
