Vista laptop not connecting to wireless network?
My friend is over and is trying to connect to my network. She has a Vista laptop and connected to another person's wireless earlier today. I phoned Virgin but didn't understand a word the guy was saying. I'm using my laptop via wireless right now. She has the correct password, it says it's only local connection.Thanks in advance.
Laptop not connecting to wireless network?
I have a Presario CQ61 Notebook PC from Compaq. When I try to connect outside of home, it will say " Windows was unable to connect." When I'm at home, it will say this so I have to reset the router for it to work. Then it works. My internet works fine plugged in and I don't know what to do. Thanks
Laptop not connecting to wireless network?
I really need help. I have an HP laptop that I recently bought, and for some reason unknown to me, it stopped connecting to the wireless network yesterday. My sister's laptop can still connect, but mines can't. I've searched the problem, and it has been recommended that I " reset the BIOS." I have no idea what BIOS are, where to find them, how reset them. I am totally lost. Anyone have any idea on how I should go about fixing this problem?Thanks in AdvanceThe wireless switch was on the whole time. It's saying wireless network detected, but it's not connecting the internet.
Laptops not Connecting to wireless network, they say the internet is connected but nothing works... help!?
A few days ago my internet stopped working on my laptop, it says that it is connected, but internet and all messangers won't load. Everything is working on the main desktop pc, but on our laptops, 3 all identical, nothing is working. The only way i know how to troubleshoot it from the laptop is through msn messanger, ive done so a few times and on all occasions the troubleshooter says the problem is the DNS... please help
Laptop not connecting to wireless network?
I have a HP Mini note laptop and it used to connect to my home wireless network fine without any problems. I recently connected to a different wireless network, now when i try to connect at home, it wont connect. It can find the network and i typed in the WPA Key and it says connecting to the network but it doesn't actually connect. Our home network usually connects automatically so i don't know why its not working now. i reset both the computer and the laptop but its still not working. Any ideas why??? Thanks

For some reason unknown to me, my laptop stopped connecting to the wireless network yesterday. My sister's laptop can still connect, and everyone else's in the house. I restarted it, yes. Went to a room where I could get faster connection, still nothing. I did get an error that said " something I don't remember was disconnected" I know it didn't say internet, I would have remembered that.
