Why are laptop power cords so useless?
The whole point of a laptop machine is to go places where you don't have a permanent installation. The cord won't reach from a baseboard outlet to a table top, or from a wall outlet to the floor, so half the time your transformer is left dangling in midair. Meanwhile, when you DO have a suitable arrangement, the cord is just too long to stay out of the way but just too short to tuck away neatly behind something. What were the designers thinking we were going to do with these things?
My cat bit holes in my laptop power cord?
Nothing is exposed, but there are little holes in it and it looks a little bent. I am dead broke right now and can't afford another charger. I need this laptop for work Is there anything I can do? It's not working.
Why do my laptop power cords keep breaking?
I'm sick and tired of Replacing my laptop Power cords, I hove to pay 60$ to replace each cord, I spent enough to buy a new laptop. Why do they keep breaking it's like the middle part of the cords bend or were out. I've used duck tape to hold them in place but it's so annoying. My old fashioned dell laptop cord hasn't worn out. I was thinking about getting a charge board but I can't afford one for a laptop. What should I do. V.V
Do L shaped laptop power cords last longer than the straight ones?
I've had 3 different laptops, 1 had the L shaped cord and the other 2 had straight cords. Both straight cord laptops we had to send to the repair shop due to power cord problems several times, but didn't have to send in the L shaped laptop.
If the large block, or 'brick,' in the middle of my laptop power cord is warm, does that mean it is dead?
Acer laptop power cord ?
I have a acer laptop , and i had it for about a year . now when i plug the charger in , the charger turns green but it doesnt go into the laptop. So my laptop is dead and it doest charge anymore unless i fiddle around with it ALOT . and it gets me fustrated . i neee help . What do i do ?

My dog chewed my laptop power cord, but it still works so is it safe to use?
My mom got all mad and said something about an electric stapler at work shorting out and burning out the whole stapler and was saying the same would happen to my laptop. But the dog just chewed on the plastic around the actual cord that sends power through it. That thing is still intact. And it works fine. Is it safe though?
Laptop power cord not working... Help!?
I really need help right now.. it was working just this evening.When I woke up this morning, my laptop won't charge anymore.I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 btw...Anyways.. its not the same as that " plugged in, not charging" thingThis time, its absolutely not charging no matter what socket I plug it into.BEFORE, it just won't charge in the sockets beside my bed, I thought it was the socket that was faulty, BUT NOW it totally won't charge anymore Anyone knows what's the problem???The plug has absolutely no damage around it, no scratches or anything.I'll be trying going to school and finding someone with the same plug but I'm scared it would actually be my PC that has a problem.Please HElp Any help is appreciated, Thanks
Laptop Power Cord Question?
Hey so I recently purchased a new battery for my Dell Vostro 1510 which has worked just fine up until this point. Now when I plug in my 65 watt ac adapter to charge my computer the blue 'charging light' found on the laptop lights up for maybe 3 seconds before turning off. When I hover my mouse above the battery icon on the taskbar it says 33 % available plugged in, not charging . I have looked around online and found that it might be an issue with the internal plug. I would like to see if I can fix the issue by purchasing a new ac adapter. Before I do however I want to make sure that a new power cord will fix the issue. Can I use any 65 watt ac laptop power cord or must it be one specifically designed for my Dell?
Laptop Power Cord Replacement?
My laptop is 1 1 2 years old. I've used it almost daily, and the powder cord is coming apart. I don't know all the technical Computer Terms. But the power cord is starting to wear out physically. It runs the laptop just fine, no problems with the actual laptop. But the part of the cord where you plug it into the computer, the coating is starting to wear off.I've been advised I can use duct tape for awhile. But I'll eventually need another Laptop cord. How do I find a Universal Laptop cord that will work well and not be a waste of money?Any advice on Finding a Laptop Cord is well appreciated Thanks in advance

My laptop charger will work when put into certain positions, and those positions are slowly being limited. What can i do to fix it?
