Which is better? (laptop processors)?
AMD Quad Core A6 3420M Accelerated Processor 2.4GHz 1.5GHz, 4MB L2 Cache vs.something similar to... i7 or i5 intel processor rated at like 2.4 or 2.5ghz with turbo boosted to about 3.0ghzoh, and if possible, give an explanation as to why its better.
Is it easy to switch laptop processors?
Im pretty good at opening up laptops and stuff. So I have an old Toshiba Satellite M70 and a little new L300D, but the l300d doesnt work. So could I take its dual core procesor and switch it for the m70's celeron.Somebody answer my other question tooo its more important

How much will the performance differ between these two laptop processors? (AMD & Intel)?
One of them has an AMD Dual Core A4 3305M Accelerated Processor with a CPU speed of 3305M 1.9GHz and the other has an Intel Core i5 2450M with a CPU speed of 2450M 2.5GHz The one with the AMD processor is $70 cheaper than the Intel one. But the casual online first person shooter gamer that I am, I am concerned that the above AMD processor will have a noticeable difference in performance than the Intel one. Can someone tell me whether it's going to be worth it to buy the cheaper one or not?
Help With Laptop Processor Compatibility?
I have a Toshiba Satellite C655D S5130 Laptop and it is very slow. So I thought for a fun project, I might try and upgrade the processor for it. I have been looking online and cant find anything that tells me what processors are compatible with it. Does anyone know, or have any suggestions? I know this could be tricky, but prefer to try anyways. Thanks
Upgrade Laptop Processor and RAM?
I have a HP Pavilion DV7 3165DX Notebook PC with a AMD Turion II Dual Core M620 2.5 GHz processor and only 4GB RAM space. My question is what is the best processor can I upgrade my laptop with and can I upgrade my RAM to 8GB? Because I was looking at my laptops system specs and it says my RAM installed size is 4GB 8GB max so 8GB is the max that I can put in there right? My hard drive is 500GB if that matters when answering the question on the processor upgrade. I am into technology and know a few things but certainly not a wiz. I think my laptop is a pretty good quality one, still runs great after 2 years. So any insight on my questions is appreciated. THANKS I also have 2 hard drive slots.

Laptop Processors AMD vs. Intel?
I recently noticed a few comments on others post about processors..please tell me as I search for my laptop..what is the difference between a AMD Dual Processor and a Intel Processor? and which one should I steer away from? Does it really matter. AMD seems to rate same as or better than Intel on several sites.Thank you all so much for your help. I am not a computer expert that is why I have so many questions..so now what brands should I stay away from. I'm just trying to not waste my money..or even if you have a list of things for me to look for and I will print and take along while I search. thanks again for any info you can provide.
