Sony Vaio laptop quality, reliability and performance. Read below:?
I'm planning to buy a Sony Vaio E series laptop. If you own a Sony Vaio laptop, it would be helpful if somebody could tell me about its performance and reliability. I had been to market yesterday and I saw the label MADE IN CHINA on the sony vaio laptops. Does this mean that the vaio laptops could be of low quality??

I'm deciding to buy a laptop brand between Acer and Sony. Surprisingly, the Sony notebook has a really good price deal and is only $100 more expensive than the Acer laptop. The Acer laptop has a 2 years warranty offer, and has a higher speed. Although I have never used an Acer or a Sony laptop ever I have always used Dell . So I'm just wondering which laptop brand quality is better, lasts longer, and which one should I buy?
Gateway laptop quality?
I'm considering a Gateway laptop its in a dead heat with a Toshiba. They are priced identically, and almost identical in specs. About the only difference is the Gateway has HDMI out and one more usb port. So, unless the keyboard and mouse pad and screen are deal brerakers when i go check them out at the store, is there any reliability problems you guys have had with gateway laptops?Not buying a Mac, you find me ANY Mac for what these cost $649.99 Canadian . Anyways back on topic, how is Gateway's quality when it comes to laptops?Oh, I'll correct myself, I could get a Mac mini for precisely that price. Except it would only have a core 2 duo insted of a core i3, half the ram, like a 5th the hard drive space, and... oh yeah, the fact it's not a laptop. So I'm sorry for that error... Anyways, back on topic... again...

Gateway FX laptop quality, DDR1, 2, and 3?
I am looking at buying a new laptop for gaming. the best that I could find currently was the Gateway P 7811FX. If anybody has, could you tell me how it is? Also, what is the difference between DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 memory? For instance, this has 512 mb of DDR3, which is supposedly amazing. All answers appreciated.512 mb video card. 4 gigs of ram

Fujitsu Laptop Quality Issue w/ DC Jack?
My son has a Fujitsu Laptop S Series Lifebook purchased in Dec. 2004. I've had major quality issues w the AC adapter plug. It has been fixed 3 times. When I spoke to Fujitsu, they said there have been minimal quality issues w this problem. However, the certified service provider has told me this issue has been a major problem for Fujitsu. I'm curious if anybody else has had issues? Also, would you know how I can get access to their quality records to validate if this has been an issue. I just think Fujitsu has been not truthful to me on this problem. Thank you

Netbook Laptop Quality?
I am looking for a cheap laptop strictly for writing. I hate writing from my desk and my laptop is too heavy to be convenient. Are netbooks any good? Do they get overheated easily? Can they keep up with large files in my word processor? Thanks. No need to suggest good laptops, I know which brands I like but lack the cash. Ebay has good deals on netbooks and I was wondering if they are worth it.
Gateway Laptop? Quality?
So I'v had alot of computer issues lately... In the past year my toshiba laptop has broken 8 times. So i wan't to find a good quality computer for not that much money... I found a gateway that I like but i DONT want any issues. I also like the Dell Inspiron, but I'd prefer the Gateway because its cheaper. Opinions? how are Gateway Computers?
