How much will laptop repair cost?
Recently, i smashed the DC port on my Lenovo B560, and it no longer charges. I live on my computer, so it MUST be fixed. Should I ship it to Lenovo, or somewhere else? Also, how much will it cost. I will tell them I just need a new DC jack, and not a new motherboard.

the bit where my charger should plug in is broken, it charges but blinks and can cause the laptop to go off without a warning. so how much should laptop repair be for this problem? im 100 % sure it aint the charger .
Where can I get good laptop repair?
By laptop repair, I mean the physical laptop itself, not like, memory, or stuff like that. My friend tripped over my charger, stretched the wire so the charger no longer works. at the same time this knocked the laptop down, when it smacked onto the tile on the ground it broke parts of the plastic and metal on the top half of the laptop the screen half and knocked out the D, G, B, and H keys. Is there anywhere I can send bring my laptop to get all this fixed? Cheapest prices possible, please.
Did laptop repair company diagnose laptop fault incorrectly?
I recently sent off my laptop to a repair company cause it would barely charge I was convinced it was the dc jack that was the problem cause it felt loose and i remember it was never so loose, so the laptop company i sent to diagnosed it as only needing a new charger so i cancelled the order cause they wanted 40 for a new charger but bought one cheaper elsewhere still had to pay 69.99 for the service, even though that would have covered a dc jack repair if it needed it ... anyway had my laptop returned and plugged in my new charger, it charges better while the other charger barely does but it still has to be held in a certain way to charge... did i pay 69.99 for a false diagnosis?.. and if its any help the charger tip gets too hot to touch when charging... and my other charger also did that too.
Minor laptop repair help?
I've got a Toshiba laptop that I bought two or three years ago. I don't exactly remember the model, though.Either way, as you would expect, my laptop's been through quite a bit. I'm currently missing the period key on the number pad, and the plastic covering on the side, over the ventilation system, is cracked and broken. On top of that, my computer has been having plenty of 'unexpected shutdowns' lately, and they're not because of updates.I can already figure that the shutdowns are because of overheating, and I'm guessing that it's overheating because of dust inside the laptop. There has to be at least two years worth of dust in there Is it possible to clean out the dust without completely taking apart my laptop? If it is, what would be the best place to get supplies to do so? Also, is it bad for the laptop to be puffing into the ventilation myself? I've been doing so in order to keep the dust from building up any more, but I don't want to damage my laptop more if I can help it. One last thing. It's about the damage to the outside of the laptop, namely the missing key and cracked casing. Neither are really interfering with my laptop's performance, and I hardly even use the key that's missing. But the cracks on my laptop's casing are a bit worrying, and have spread a bit over time. Is it possible to get this fixed? Or is it something that I'll have to deal with until I can buy a new laptop?

My laptop has been shutting itself down when I use AC power with it, but it never shuts down by itself on battery power. And recently it has started shutting down when i'm using safe mode, which it never has before. I'm assuming it's because the laptop is getting extremely overheated because the bottom of the laptop gets so hot that it's almost scalding. And I highly doubt buying a cooling pad from, lets just say, Walmart will solve the issue or may only be a temporary fix. I have a Medion Akoya e5312 model and it has Vista on it. And buying a new computer is not an option for me. If you suggest a repair shop please include a contact phone number or a link to their website. Thank you

What Laptop repairs cost $500.00 dollars?
My brother's laptop recently started having problems by turning off by itself, or freezing for no reason. So he brought it to a repair shop and they said that the repair would probably cost too much and that it was better to buy a new one. Though this man would never say what the actual problem was, so I was wondering what the hell it could be. The Laptop was originally worth about $900.00 I don't quite remember what model it was but it was an HP.

Does anyone know of a website I could ship to so they can fix it? Or a shop? I have an HP pavillon laptop and the fan does not work, so everytime it overheated and turns off. Also the battery sucks, think it needs a new one. It also runs slow. Any good place or site?
