Laptop screen goes black after startup?
my lap top will go thru startup, says to press F1 to follow through, then once its about to head to the welcome screen it goes black like the screen has been shut off. i put it to sleep, then turn it back on and magically it goes to my desktop screen and works as normal. any help? its a dell inspiron lap top, and it needs a new battery which i have purchased, as well as an adaptor cable. could that be the only reason why it acts up this way?
