Laptop screen repair?
so last night i accidentally stood on my laptop lid closed and when i went to use it, i noticed when i turned it on, half the screen was funny, black dots everywhere, funny fuzzy coloured lines and just basically broke, bloody great im guessing ill need to get a new screen fitted, where shall i go to get it done? and any idea how much it will cost me, im in the UK, thanks

LCD laptop screen repair, 10 points for best answer?I have managed to crack my lcd screen, and before shelling out for a replacement I thought of replacing it with a screen from an old laptop.I have an emachine with a 15.6" screen and the screen i wish to replace it with is 15.4" Is this too much of a size difference? Will with cause issues with my laptop or am I okay?
Getting a laptop screen repaired: Worth it?
I have been given a free laptop with a non working17" screen though the computer works fine. If the computer is hooked up to a monitor, all works well.Anyone else have this issue before? I wouldn't mind putting some money into it as it is free and otherwise works fine.

I have a sony vaio laptop..The model is PCG 71211LThe screen was stepped on by someone and cracked so you can't see too much.I was looking to replace it.. I couldn't find any LED screen that was 15.5" .. the only one I could find was 15.6" I was wondering if anyone knows it the 15.6" would fit in my laptop with a 15.5" screen currently?

I had an accident and now my laptop screen is completely busted. the laptop still works because I hooked it up to a external monitor screen, but the screen is destroyed. Can i take it to a computer repair shop or send it back to to the manufacture? what are some options I have?

I know that my other laptop needs to be replaced with a bezel but my question is that will everything fit together? Like I know that I'm gonna be getting the bezel and the screen and be putting them together. I know that I'm getting the right model because I looked at my laptop but will my dad like have to bring it to work and put everything together by glueing it?My laptop doesn't have any screen or bezel right now. My dad broke it all. Only the keyboard mouse drive etc is left.

Ok i have Compal HLB 2 and i just cracked the screen accidently. I been trying to find an exact replacement screen and i can't find one. Can i just use another screen that is of same size, 15.6? Is there anything else i need to know? thx

I believe I have a loose wire in my laptop screen. Whenever I move my laptop around, the screen blurs and freezes, and I have to tap my screen to get it back into focus. About how much does it cost to have my laptop fixed and how long would the process take?
