Laptop screen replacement help with resolution! help plz?
i cracked my gateway screen on my laptop and i now have the screen out of the laptop.everywhere i have gone to get it checked out they have told me about 100 to 130 for a screen replacement.i have typed in the exact model of my screen online and it says amazon has it for 55 but the screen resolution says 1366x768 and mine says 1360x768.. i have tried changing my screen to 1366 but it doesnt look good at allcan i buy it and have no problems? thanks
Cheap Laptop Screen Replacements?
Hi. I recently got a laptop for free, but the screen on it is broken lines going up and down and parts of it just plain black because of a fall. It's a Dell Inspiron 1501 and otherwise appears to be in pretty good shape. I've looked online and see that replacement screens are so expensive I'm wondering if there's anyway I could get a screen for less than $100? Even Ebay is more than that. I didn't realize they were so pricey. Thanks

I got a free HP Pavilian ze4500 from my neighbor because the screen was cracked and there are large black splotches on it. Other than that, it's a great computer. I'm pretty sure it can't be fixed Please correct me if i'm wrong or if you have any tips . I am willing to buy a replacement, so will and 15" screen work, or do I need the same kind. If not, got any suggestions?

I cracked the screen on my acer aspire 5738z 4111. I want to replace it as cheaply as I can. There are many acer models that seem basically identical to mine. The same resolution, size, and features HD and LCD only I can find them $100 cheaper. Could I just use any of the 5738's that have the same screen specs or is it very important to get the exact model number?wow kathrine ann. you are illiterate and rude. the brand is acer. the make is aspire. the model number is 5738z 4111. i say all this in the very first sentence. in the very next sentence i say i want to replace it as cheaply as i can meaning i dont want to send it out to get fixed. if you do not know what you are talking about, why are you trying to help people in the laptop hardware section?

I have an ASUS K53TA laptop and I want to replace the screen from ASUS G53SX. They have exactly the same dimensions and pin sockets but different resolutions. G53SX is 1920x1080 while mine has 1366X768 resolution.
