Laptop screen keeps going black!!?
I have a HP G56 laptop that is around a year and a half old, i put it in for repair because the screen kept going white and streaky. The replaced a cable and I got the laptop back yesterday switched it on today and the screen now keeps flickering black, the computer is still running while this is happening. I'm going to take it back to the place i got it repaired when it opens but i was hoping someone could give me an idea of the cause.
Laptop screen keeps flickering on and off?
My laptop screen just started randomly flickering on and off, and it will not stop. The cursor also flickers, but it remains visible on the screen and movable when the screen is dark. I'm not sure if this is a video card or battery problem or a problem with the monitor itself since the flickering stops and everything works fine if I have software running like a video game . The flickering also stops when a dialog box asking for my permission to change something pops up. The computer itself is working perfectly minus the flickering, so I can actually go on the internet and do other things without any problems minus the pain to my eyes from the constant flickering . Any idea what could be wrong?But if the problem is truly mechanical then why does the flickering stop during the instances that I mentioned above?

Hi i have an acer notebook and uesterday my little brother accidently drop his ipod on the screen and it has gone weird, it looks like the screen is cracked when the laptop is on but the actual screen isnt does anyone know whats gone on or how i can fix it ?x
My Laptop screen broke and I cant pay for a new one.?
I'm trying to find a way to still use my laptop but I cant pay for a new screen. I have a Dell. I got this laptop about a year ago and I didnt have enough money to pay for the complete care for it,m and still, Ive already called dell up about this problem but they want me to pay 375 for a new screen. So I said hell no, I know my friends tell me that I can use an external monitor but i dont know how. Is there a way i could hook it up to my dads laptop without any problemsIt is a dell inspiron which has windows 7 on it. Thanks if anyone can help me with this. And no i dont have alot to pay for a new one so thats out of the question.

Does anyone know what's wrong with my laptop screen? I replaced it too?So there was a small accident with my laptop some time ago where the screen cracked, but it wasn't very apparent, until the laptop was on, then the screen would only display multicolor images with black spots and it was just obvious the screen was broken especially after seeing the cracks when i took it out. So I bought another one and tried putting it in, and i realized that the screen's lights weren't working, both screens are LED lcds no inverter , but you can see the laptop function perfectly fine besides the whole extremely dim thing. So I'm wondering, does anyone know what's wrong? Is the screen I just purchased faulty or is my video cable broken where it won't let the screen light up?Oh I forgot to mention that when I plugged the old screen back into the laptop, the screen wouldn't light up as well, there was a slight flicker, but there was no multicolor display with black spots. Laptop screen goes black when connecting HDMI cable to TV?
I am trying to connect my laptop HP pavilion dm4 windows 7 to my TV Samsung . At first, I had connected the HDMI to my laptop and whilst trying to figure out I must have pressed something because now everytime I plug the HDMI to the laptop my screen goes completely blank, I cannot even see the cursor. This happened when I was in the Control Panel under Hardware and Sound and clicked on " connect to a projector" where the options are " computer only duplicate extend projector only" I clicked on each of these options and suddenly my screen went blank. I have tried restarting, pressing the fn keys when I'm connected to the HDMI, clicking on " computer only" before I plug in the HDMI cable, etc. and nothing seems to work. I obviously know it was something I clicked on because this was not the case before. Any idea as to what is going on and what I can do will be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
Laptop screen is lit up but is black?

Is it possible to take out a laptop screen with wiring and all, then make it into an individual monitor to use for something else. If yes, then please explain how. I have an old toshiba satellite that barely even works and thought to use it as something else.
Laptop screen broke! Help?
Hi i need some input on this. I used my laptop a few days ago and it was fine. Now i pick it up today and the screen is broken. It is not physically cracked but it looks like it was cracked internally and the screen is black and not showing anything in a certain spot. My younger brother uses the laptop every day and he is denying that he broke it. Do you think he broke it? Is it possible that it broke on its own? It was fine when i last used it a few days ago. But my brother uses it every day.

Hello,I have a P 6860FX Gateway and i have had it for i think 4 years. I use it for a lot of gaming and over the years of having it plugged in a lot i have fried the batter. That didn't bother me really but the problem now is that after playing for about half an hour or so my computers screen goes black but the laptop stays on and if you look close you can barely see whats on the screen. I have already tried the tips to take out the battery unplug everything and hold the power button for 60seconds. it worked the first time but then it happended again and now that trick doesn't work. Im not sure what to do now and i can't call the tech support because my warranty with gateway is up. I would like someone with a lot of experience in this subject to give me a straight answers or some test i could do to figure out the problem. ps when it worked the first time my fn up and down arrows didn't dim or brighten the screen anymore but the fn button still works for other commands and the arrow keys work as well .
My Laptop Screen Has A Red Tint!?
I just got the Asus G75VW BBK5 laptop from bestbuy. I got it a week an a half ago and it was working perfectly. Then all of the sudden it has this red tint to the screen and I can not figure out how to get rid of it. Is there anything I can do to get it fixed quickly.
