My laptop speakers crackle. Please help!?
I can't find what I'm looking for with search. I really hope someone can help. I have a laptop less than two years old. I started noticing more recently that my speakers would crackle. Not often, but once they start they won't stop. I have to shut down my computer for a long while before I can turn it back on and everything be fine. I was playing movies and stuff on it quite a bit and I'd turn the volume all the way up, but If I had blown them, wouldn't they not work all the time? It's only occasionally that they do this. At least once a day now I have played with the sound settings, and it doesn't help. It does it whether the sound is loud or soft. It even travels through external speakers and headphones if I use them. Can anyone help?I was watching a video on You tube just a few minutes ago and my Face book was in another tab... A friend IMed me on facebook and the video started to crackle. I think there may be a connection, but what? How do I fix this? Please help. I don't think it's the sound card and I don't think the speakers are blown.

Laptop speakers crackling and then the screen turns off?
When I turn my laptop on, I can hear distortion from what I believe are the speakers. This carries on until my desktop is loaded and then the screen will turn off. Once the screen turns off, the distortion stops. But my laptop carries on working I can hear noises from my desktop .This also happens when I run it in safe mode.Any ideas what the problem is? And if possible, can it be repaired?

Laptop speakers crackling, sound speed changes ...?
I have a fairly old laptop Toshiba Satellite A210 or something. I know it's time for a new one but can't afford one right now. The sound is bugging on me, I'm missing a key but other than that it hasn't done me wrong. Lately the speakers have been crackling, and when this occurs the sound speed changes and goes kind of slow and while I'm playing wow it starts lagging while music is running in the background.I'm running a Vista, with Realtek Audio it came installed. I don't know what you mean by click all arrows but thanks for the suggestion anyways. I just tried changing the format ..see if that will do anything.

Laptop Speakers Crackling/Popping/Distortion?
Ever since i upgraded to Windows 7 from windows vista i've had this problem and just ignored it. But i need it fixed now as i'm buying a USB decks and i need the sound PERFECT to make my DJing career transportable.I know its not the speakers themselfs, as the problem presists when headphones, and external speakers are connected. I've updated my sound drivers, but the most latest version it makes it sound 10x worse. The oldest version is ignorable, but like i said now i need it fixed.I'm using Realtek Sound Device. In device manager it shows up as " High Definition Audio Device" pfft high definition my a I've done a lot of research into this problem ages ago but just thought, ignore it. My laptop is up to date with no viruses, and checked daily.I've been on the Realtek site, they can't seem to fix it. I know i'm not the only person with the problem, but no one seems to relsolve it It would be appreciated if someone could fix this for me Anonymous .
