My laptop speakers aren't working?
Okay so apparently a few days ago I found my laptop speakers aren't working.It only works when you put headphones and it will make sound,BUT when you take out the headphones it won't work and that sound of it is fine cause when I click on the sound thing it will go up and down and it's not mute either.Now I want to know what is wrong with it and should I keep my headphones in and use it whenever?Please I need help So it is okay to keep my headphones in?Nothing will happen right?

Well nothing but my own fault.. I guess I like my music so loud my laptop speakers wore out in just about over a year and 2 months. I have a Dell Inspiron N5010.. also my warranty ran out so I don't know what to do. I got two front speakers that just blew out. I can technically listen to audio on it but it has to be soft low volume. Anything high pitched, base, surround effect will just further distort the audio out. Best description is audio followed by pops and crackles just horrible. It was working fine yesterday, but I decided to amp it up with an equalizer and boost it up. I suppose that's when they gave out today . Are there replacement for these tiny speakers built in the laptop or something? Best thing I can do? '
Why won't my laptop speakers work?
OK, so i bought a laptop a couple weeks ago and it's been working great since, until the other day sometimes the audio won't work. It could be a youtube video or an application and it doesn't even work if I plug in a headset. It's not all the time, it's just randomly, a couple of times a day. If I restart my computer it fixes the problem temporarily. Any help would be great. Specs Asus X43U, AMD Duel core CPU, 1.6GHz, Windows 7, I couldn't find what kind the speakers are, but it's installed with realtek high definition audio driver.

Why are my laptop speakers not working?
it's a lenovo T410s running WinXP 32 bit i thinkbasically it's a laptop and i close it it to put the computer to sleep a lot and then open it again, i think it's because of that. when i restart it the speakers work again but i don't want to close my programs every time they stop working. i notice they are not working sometimes when i take it out of sleep i've checked the volume is not on mute and the sound i'm playing isn't too low, just nothing comes outto clarify when i restart my computer the speakers work again

So I have Windows XP laptop and for about a month and a half my laptop has started to have problem.When I put my headphones in the headphone jack the sound comes out of the headphones AND the speakers... this is REALLY annoying and I don't have the money to buy a new one it's pretty old so it was a thought so i need to know how to fix it...
Is my sound card broken or laptop speakers blown?
I played some music through my laptop Dell Inspiron speakers at almost max volume. The next day when i plugged in my headphones, which have amazing bass, the bass was pretty much non existing. It sounds fine when i play it through the speakers, but when i plug headphones in, the bass is gone. Is that my speakers or the sound card? How can I fix my laptop speakers?
I just restarted my laptop n I put my it on mute 4 a sec. But once I unmuted it, no sound came outta it. I tried putting in my headphones. The sound comes out but it's n a low n slightly static kinda way. Is there any easy way to fix this? It was working just fine yesterday until just now.

Whenever I try to do anything with sound, no sound comes out. The only time the sound works is when I plug and unplug my charger. I have looked up everything and MADE SURE all of the sound settings aren't on mute and are all the way up. Any ideas?

Laptop speakers distorted, static-y sounding?
I have an Asus K73E BBR7 laptop that I purchased 2 months ago. One day about a month ago, out of nowhere whenever I tried listening to music or anything, the speakers sounded very distorted and static y. I restarted my laptop and that didn't help. I turned it off for the night and when I went to use it the next day, it seemed to have corrected itself. But, it started doing it again today. Whenever I try to watch a YouTube video or any other video, there is no sound. Yet, there is sound when I listen to music on Spotify, albeit distorted and static y and messed up.Any ideas on what this problem could be, and how I can fix it?
