Need to clone my old desktop hdd to my new laptop ssd?
I travel alot so i bough a good laptop MSI GT683DXR 489US . Took out the two 500 gb hdds and put in one 256gb Crucial m4 ssd. I took the hdd out of my old desktop and need to copy the os and everything onto the new ssd. About half the reviews i read on the ssd people say they copied their old hdd to the new ssd with no problems but i cannot figure out how to.Thanks
Laptop ssd ( solid state drive) question?
I had an hp mini 1000 series netbook 1030nr to be specific that broke and I want to put the 16gb ssd from it in my sony vaio nr180e laptop that currently has a sata harddrive. The ssd card from my netbook has a ribbon cable type connector and I'm unsure how or if you can hook it up to my sony vaio. Any knowledge would be appreciated, Thanks.
Can you install a Laptop SSD into a Desktop?
I just scrapped an old Laptop so I have an extra 80gb Solid State Drive and I would like to install it into my Desktop computer. Is this possible?Also, is there any special way to install it? Tip and Tricks I should know??It's an Intel SATA SSD. Thanks.
