Question: Laptop stand for car?

I was wondering if it was legal to have a laptop stand for a car. you know like the ones police cars have. I drive my family around everywhere and to save gas i have to wait hours before i get out so i want to bring my laptop. if it is legal how much do they cost and if you can post some links that would be great.

It's illegal to have a TV in you car, so I doubt it's legal to have a operational laptop in your car.

If you can find a truck stop, they have those stands for big semi trucks, maybe you can fit it in your car. they are pretty cool, you basically bolt it to the floor or the seat
