Split desk laptop stands for both sides of the bed?
wife and I have two laptops she has a stand that rolls under bed that splits and holds laptop and mouse we are both right handed and for the life of me can't find a stand that puts the split for mouse on RIGHT side as I sleep on left side of bed any ideas?I saw laptop " trays" sure and yes we have the in America. However it is the split top kind that scoots under the bed I'm after.
Could someone please tell me what a icon on my laptop stands for or does, it is?

What are some good laptop stands?
I do note taking with my laptop and am currently using a rolodex metal laptop stand, but its not collapsible and kind of heavy. i'm looking for something similar, but lighter and that will fold flat, but still be just as sturdy for my job. ideas? i want something that has an adjustable angle as well.

And what does it mean when it flashes It is in the bottom part of my screen.This morning my computer would not turn off, and that bulb icon was flashing It is not on the screen part, and I think I just saw the right answer, I might have put it into sleep mode by accident, thanks

They are not expensive but just wondering if it will really do anything good for my laptop.
With XP SP3, my laptop stands by when I shut off the power switch even though there's still some battery left!?
This only occurs when I have a battery which is not full. If my battery is full, it wouldn't cause problems. But when my battery has considerately some power left, like 50 %, WinXP still stands by when I shut off the power. It's not the alarms. And it would've hibernated if I enabled Hibernation. Any help? I want it to " stay alive" when I turn off the power switch and there's still some battery left.
Where can I buy a cheap laptop stand in London?
I'm DJing at a wedding tomorrow and need to pick it up this afternoon. I use 2 turntables, a small 2 channel DJ mixer and a laptop running Serato Scratch Live and need somewhere to put my laptop as with the 2 turntables it takes up all the space. I've found some online at WestendDJ but they are so expensive Any cheaper options I can physically pick up today?
Acer Laptop Stand By key Problem?
Now Before i explain my problem i will state a few things My Acer laptop drivers are up to dateMy acer laptop supports standy ByWhen I Click on Start Turn Of computer, i have the option stand by, and when i click on it my laptop does go into standby mode. The problem is that all acer laptops have a key function i.e Fn f7 which in my case is SUPPOSED to standy by the laptop, however all fn short cuts work apart from the stand by one, How come it dosn't do anything, i wait like 5 mins after i pressed it and still nothing happens............thanks in advanceIts Kool, Now, All i had to do is go to acer epower managment, and then tell it what to do when i press sleep button lol, i went to control panel power options nd instead of opening the windows based power options, it opened the acer one...Ahh Welll Mynaaa

Has anyone bought the laptop stand shown recently on QVC? It costs about 35 and has extra ports on it,but I think the keyboard looks at a strange angle when the laptop is on this sort of cradle.

Ok, so i'm getting a laptop soon, and i was looking for a laptop like everything station.I'm looking for something to elevate it with with a built in cooling thingie, i docking station with enough USB ports.I'm also looking for a set of speakers. they can be integrated with the docking station thing .It would be nice to get surround, but not too expensive. i also don't know how to set up surround.
What does the DATA (D:) drive on my laptop stand for?
I'm running out of room on my laptop and I'm wondering what the main purpose of my D drive is for. It has 32 gigs of free memory that I could use for better things my C drive only has one gig left ... is there any way I could access it? If so, even more importantly, will it cause my programmes to not run?
