Laptop to tv connection not working, help!?
My landlords tv is an LG DU 42PX12X, and I have a Dell Inspiron 1545.. I was trying to connect my laptop to it, so I plugged in my VGA cable from my laptop, to the tv, and my laptop automatically re adjusted it's resolution to 1024x768, but there was no picture on the tv.I've read the manual for the tv, and have followed the instructions for connecting a PC step by step about 10 times, with no luck.I have pressed F1 on my laptop to try and switch it over, my laptop screen goes black, but there still isn't a picture on the tv screen.help?
