Why my laptop to tv connection got no colour ?
Try connecting my laptop Hp Pavilion 6636 to my Full HD LCD TV Samsung LA40F8 using a S video to RCA yellow cable. But it only display Black& white screen. This are the following step i tried 1 Set the tv to PAL,NTSC etc.2 Connect to another CRT TV.3 Change some display setting on my laptop control panel. 32 bit to 16 bit All the above can't solve my problem. Can anyone tell me what i miss out. Thanks I checked the s video cable is 4 pins .Any other solution ? Thanks
Problem with laptop to tv connection?
We have used a VGA cable to watch movies from our computer on our tv for the past couple of months now suddenly the picture does not transfer over. I have restarted the computer, the tv, switched the cords to make sure it was plugged in well, and I still can't get a picture to show up on the tv. and yes, it's set to " pc" Please advise....

have a 7 pin SV to 3 pin rca cable like this one adapter store.com images 5FT ...whenever I try to connect my laptop to my tv, nothing happens.When I connect the audio cables to my tv, a buzzing sound appears on my tv.the screen flickers once but i don't get any display on my tv. There's three different kinds...SVGA, XGA, and WXGA. I have a Toshiba Satellite A205 S5000 and the TV is a Sylvania HDTV model LC321SS9. Both have a 15 pin male to male.
