Question on laptop to tv hdmi connection?
ok so i got a new 56 inch sony bravia hd tv, and today i went picked up a hdmi connector cable to hook my laptop up to the tv, so that the monitor displays on the tv. it all works perfectly except the screen on the tv slightly cuts of about a half an inch of screen on each side. i.e. i can only see about half of my taskbar, cant see the scroll bar on the side of web pages, etc. anyone know how to fix this??as i said its a sony bravia 56 inch tv, and the computer is a toshiba satellite laptop running vista if it matters thanks so much for any help
Laptop to tv hdmi connection not working?
i have connected my laptop to the tv via a hdmi cable , but my video files play on the laptop but not the tv. how do i view my files on the t.v. i am using a dell laptop running vista and have it connected to a lg tv.
Dell Inspiron 1525: No sound through laptop to TV HDMI connection?
I have never had this problem before. When I hook up my laptop to my TV through an HDMI cable I get picture but no sound. I have always gotten sound in the past but of recent it is only putting sound out through the laptop speakers. I reinstalled the original audio files for the laptop, but still no sound. Yes, I have gone to the audio setting and chosen the SPDIF Out. I am just in a quandary right now , seeing how I have not updated the audio drivers on the computer one time and now all of a sudden it does not play sound through the TV. Anyone have any suggestions?
