Vista laptop to tv hdmi?
I know I already asked a question like this but I got no answers So i'll ask it better. I have set up my vista laptop to my hd tv by hdmi. It displays taking up way less than the screen size. how can I expand it?
Question on laptop to tv hdmi connection?
ok so i got a new 56 inch sony bravia hd tv, and today i went picked up a hdmi connector cable to hook my laptop up to the tv, so that the monitor displays on the tv. it all works perfectly except the screen on the tv slightly cuts of about a half an inch of screen on each side. i.e. i can only see about half of my taskbar, cant see the scroll bar on the side of web pages, etc. anyone know how to fix this??as i said its a sony bravia 56 inch tv, and the computer is a toshiba satellite laptop running vista if it matters thanks so much for any help

Here's a couple questions1. This is the one Im most concerned with I guess you could say. How do I make it full screen on my tv? Because the image from my laptop shows up from my tv just its not full screen and I would like to make it full screen on my laptop.2. How or can I make the sound go through my tv? I tried to earlier but the sound would'nt go through.So if you guys can answer those two questions that would be great
Connedting laptop to tv hdmi no sound from tv?
I tried to look up how to fix this but they seem confusing because I need a step my step instructions on how to do this. Ok so I right click on that nice little speaker then in the corner. I set the tv sound on default which should have audio play through my tv. Sadly it doesn't. What else do I have to do to get sound to play from my tv. I thought by clicking on the speaker and setting the tv from the sound as default should get sound to play from tv but it doesnt for what reason I don't know. Btw if you couldnt tell already Im using a hdmi cable.Already tried what the guy below said still won't work. Anything else?

Connecting Laptop to Tv Hdmi to Vga?
I wanna connect my laptop to the tv and my laptop has an Hdmi output and the tv has pc input but i heard its the same as vga because it has 15 de or dots. So what kindve cable would i need to connect them together and would it work because i heard they dont go together. Also,what are the chances of an Hdmi input on the back of the tv.

Some sort of HDMI or VGA adapter dongle to coax component s video? I know there are HDMI digital converters to component analog... but those are very expensive. Is there a better, quality, easy way to do this? I have an HP dv4 series laptop. Thank you
Dell Inspiron 1525: No sound through laptop to TV HDMI connection?
I have never had this problem before. When I hook up my laptop to my TV through an HDMI cable I get picture but no sound. I have always gotten sound in the past but of recent it is only putting sound out through the laptop speakers. I reinstalled the original audio files for the laptop, but still no sound. Yes, I have gone to the audio setting and chosen the SPDIF Out. I am just in a quandary right now , seeing how I have not updated the audio drivers on the computer one time and now all of a sudden it does not play sound through the TV. Anyone have any suggestions?
Connecting laptop to TV, HDMI or RGB/PC?
I own an Asus that has a port for HDMI and RGB PC. Which cable should I purchase? The television I intent to connect the laptop to also has ports for both of these cables. Is there a difference? Is one better than the other?

I have sound but there is no picture, if i unplug to cord, the tv goes to snow, when its plugged in, it only shows the default screen for the tv... it was working last night... help?oh... btw its windows 7... dont know if that helps or not...
Laptop to TV HDMI Problem Help?
I am getting a laptop soon, I borrowed a friend's laptop and when I plugged it in to the tv the Resolution on the tv and the laptop was at the LAPTOP'S maximum Resolution now when I changed it so that the picture would only appear on the tv so the laptop screen was blank, the resoultion went MASSIVE. It really did not look good because the resolution was to big. If I was to lower the resoultion of the tv by modifing the laptop settings would this make the resoultion smaller when the picture is on both screens and when the hdmi cable is unplugged? I know its a bit confusing but please answer thanks
