Connet laptop to tv vga cable?
My TV is a samsung le32s8. my laptop is an acer aspire 5733. i have purhased a vga cable and ave set up my laptop to the correct resolution and to clone its image to the tv. baasically the laptop is ready to go. the problem is i need to change my tv input to PC on the menu. however on my source list the 'pc' option is there but blacked out and cant be selectedWhat shall i do????

ive ready many answers online trying to solve this problem. ive even went and got a new chord just to be sure. well im able to hook up the tv to my laptop but after a few minutes it goes to no signal. eeeeeeeevery time. help?

I am running Windows 7 and when I go to screen resolution I try all the resolutions and none of them fit everything looks to big. And yes I have the screen set to small.

Hi people. I'm not great with all the technical stuff especially when it comes to cables but this should be simple. I basically want to see on my tv what I can see on my laptop so I can watch online movies and stuff. My laptop only has a vga port and my tv only has 1 hdmi port. I recently bought a VGA cable so that I could watch online television shows on my TV. I am able to get a picture on my TV, but whenever I watch a video, it skips. The video appears fine on my laptop but it is skipping on my TV. Any suggestions?

Laptop to TV: VGA Not Supported?
I'm trying to get my HP DV9000 to play through the VGA component into my Haier 32" LCD TV but the VGA mode says " Not supported" I've tried all of the usual fixes re setting the screen refresh rate, re setting the monitor resolution, I even tried the " last known good configuration" option in the boot window. And I've tried re setting everything in both normal mode and all three safe modes. The problem happened when I tweaked the resolution and everything stopped working. Any suggestions?
Laptop to TV VGA cables?
Hi there, I'm in south america on business for a few months. The TV in my hotel is a Sony KV 200mg, it looks to be at least 10 years old. I really need to connect my laptop to it. I have a Compact Presario cq50 115nr with a GeForce 8200M G graphic card. It only has a VGA hook up to it and my tv as far as I can tell Only has RCA. It does have 2 RCA hook up's, one in the front and one in the back . The one in the front seems to be yellow and something dark, like black, maybe dark blue instead of yellow and red. I'm wondering if maybe it is component RCA RGB instead of reg RCA YRW . I was wondering if anyone could help me out and let me know if it is component because that would help me out A LOT I've looked at several cables. I found a VGA to RCA YRW online but everyone keeps telling me that won't work since VGA is digital not analog. A couple stores told me to buy a VGA to S Video adaptor and a S Video to RCA YRW but I'm having trouble finding this. I've done my research and I can't really find an answer to if my tv is component or just RCA and what kind of cable I should put into it. If someone could help me I would be very thankful.
