I am looking for a laptop under 1000 euro? (1400$)?
My 18th birthday is coming up and I will be moving out soon so I want a laptop I can use for college but also for watching movies and gaming and I have a budget of 1000 euro. I would like 6GB of RAM and the screen should be at least 14" 17" would be nice but money is an issue . I figure I need a graphics card with 1GB of RAM if I plan on using it for a while correct me if I'm wrong and a quad core processor if possible but dual core would be fine so long as it's over 2GHz.....If im being crazy unrealistic be sure to tell me but be nice D

Good affordable laptop under 1000?
I'm looking for a laptop that's good for gaming Can max out many games such as CoD4, and Runescape with no lag. I have a very fast internet connection so that isn't a problem. Also, since school is here, I want it equipped with Microsoft word excel powerpoint, etc. I also want it for music. Basically Max out Runescape World of warcraft other online and pc games. Where can I find a gaming laptop under 1000 dollars?
I want a gaming LAPTOP not desktop because I have a lack of space in my house for one, if I had room I would get a desktop the laptop needs to be good for today's games and needs to be under 1000 dollars. If you could help it pls don't show me one with amd parts but if you can't then show me it. It must be at the following retailers online, future shop, walmart. It cannot be at staples because I had a bad exp with those ppl. And it cannot be at best buy because they dont have best buys in cape breaton, Canada.

Decent gaming laptop under $1000?
Alright,I'm currently saving up for a capable gaming laptop Mainly for Starcraft 2, maybe a little WoW , and I'm not looking to spend more than 1000 US dollars. I'm not really looking for a laptop that will astound me with graphics, but something that will run SC2 smoothly without overheating. My Dell Inspiron 1420 just can't handle it, even at the lowest graphics settings.Like I said before, my budget is 1000 dollars, but if there's a computer under that amount that will suit my needs, I would like to save some money and take that one.Thanks

I already wrote a page on this, but i can't work out how to reply in yahoo lol....I've been looking at getting a laptop for a while, but wanted to try and keep it under $1000 but still find a decent one that can play games and just the usual day to day use at uni. Just wanted some recommendations. Found a few so far, and came across a Sager 5160 for $944. Only problem is I've never heard of sager before... and it's 160 to ship it over to Perth, Australia. I'm in need of a laptop notebook, unsure of the difference, but basically i'm just a student, who needs one for lots of internet facebook etc, storing an average amount of music photos, and thats basically it.. I would like to buy a laptop. I live in the Netherlands an can buy it also in Italy. It's WAY TOO DIFFICULT Every manufacturer has dozens of models, the web sites are unclear etc. I ask for help by expert humans. Here are the features that I would like, in order of importance. I am thinking of a 13'' but also 14 15 is ok. No less than 13'' otherwise the mac air 11'' would have been perfect.
