Why does my Laptop USB port not work?
My laptop has 3 usb ports. one of them works fine. the other 2 seem to be not working for some reason. When i plug in my usb flash drive to the broken ports the light on the drive lights up but my computer cannot read it and nothing comes up. is there any way to fix this problem??? please help, thanks
Laptop USB ports not working?
I've had my Toshiba Laptop for about 3 years, and it won't recognize any USB devices. I've brought it to many fixit places and people, but nothing works. This means no printer, no mouse, no camera, no iPod, and A LOT of trouble. Help
Windows 7 Toshiba Laptop USB Ports not working?!?
I have a Toshiba Satellite and Windows 7 Ultimate installed and the USB Ports stop working randomly a few months ago. When I access the Device Manager and have a device plugged it, there is a yellow next to 'Unknown Device'. However, the laptop doesn't power the mouse at all nor does it detect that it is in the computer. If you could let me know how to fix this that would be great, I have tried so hard online and there is nothing that helps Thank you
Windows 7 Toshiba laptop USB Ports not working?
My usb ports on my laptop keep shutting on and off. Sometimes they will work and other days they won't. I'm not sure if this is a driver issue but I've tried updating them. Any help would be appreciated.

hi, i have a windows 7 hp laptop and the usb ports are not working, now i have and ipod touch and want to add song on to it that i have purchased from the itunes store on to my ipod, but when i plud the ipod in it doesnt do anything i also try'd a usb flash drive, the drive did not flash and it also was not showing up on the computer i tryed it on all three ports.another thing is that i just recently just added songs onto my ipod like a few days ago, so iknow they worked then, now they dont work. i have tryed to fix them several ways like driver updatesuninstalling usb ports and allowing windows to reinstall when restarted computerSystem Restore restoring system back a few days if any one could help it would be the best thing in the world, its just harder to do things on my laptop with out the usb ports working, once agian if anyone could help i would be really greatful to them thank you all who take there time to try to help someone in need thank you agian.
Laptop usb port not working?
My usb port on my laptop suddenly stops working after i restarted my computer. My mouse, plugged in to that usb port, still has its lights on but it does not work cursor does not move or click . Same thing happen when i plug other usb devices like my external hard disk. The light on my hard disk is on but it does not show on my computer. What could be wrong with my usb port? I am sure that it is not the fault of my mouse or hard disk.
Toshiba laptop USB ports not working...?
This problem just started occuring today. I tried plugging in my USB to charge my phone and when I did, NOTHING happened. No pop up message at all. I'd plug it in and that's all. What the helll is going on? It's a Toshiba Satellite L505I'm using Windows VistaI did a system restore and nothing changed.I went to the device manager thing earlier and " updated" them but nothing happened.
