Good Laptop, Used as a Desktop Replacement?
Ok so im getting rid of my windows 98 desktop currently running ubuntu linux 7.10 ive had a good time with it.Instead of buying another clunky desktop, that sits on my desk and takes up space, i want to get a notebook computer.I started to travel around alot lately. And i dont want to really pack up my deskto p and all the wires and whatnot.Ive been thinking a mac, since i have had windows for a long time and frankly, i love it. Im just sick of it i want a change of scenery if you know what i mean.But you know windows is fine too i guess.Anyway, im getting rid of my desktop and want a laptop to save space.which laptop should i get, and where can i get it. I want it to be more than 1gb of ram, and a good graphics card please.Processor has to be a dual core.I can only spend ilke 1000 bucks.so yeahlimits it down quite alotanywaythank in advanceAlso, i know this will be a whle, but i want the specs to be able to handele the next up and coming operating system, EX Mac OSX after leopard, or windows Vista 2 or something haha
