Laptops Video Card Upgrades?
Alright, so ive heard from basically everyone that you can't put in a new Video Card on a laptop, but is there ANYTHING you can do to upgrade your video card at all??? Please Help

I spoke with Sony and they said I could not upgrade my video card in my laptop because it was integrated. However they said I can buy one the fits in the express slot on the side of my laptop. Where can I find an express video card that fits in the side of my laptop? I cannot find one anywhere. The model of my notebook is Sony Vaio FGN fw170 if that matters. thank in advanced

I took my laptop to a place that does upgrades they said they couldn't find a better video card that would fit in that slot. I am using a Nividia 8800M GTX that runs at 1 2 gb and is an overclocked edition. They also did not tell me what kind of slot it is. Any suggestions besides buy a new laptop?Also don't want to buy new laptop since this one is only two years old and the video card only meets minimum system requirements for some games. Also I spent $4000 on this one.It is an Alienware M15X. If a better video card for this slot does not exist would it be possible to put in a new slot for a second video card or remove and replace the current slot.It is an Alienware M15X. I am unfamiliar of how to change to the video card. I have a Compal JHT00 Notebook NB 337 101 14.1" WXGA TFT LCD Display 1280 x 800 Pixels w NVIDIA GeForce Go 9300M GS 256MB GDDR2 VRAM Video, MOTHERBOARD Intel PM55 ICH9 M Chipset Mainboard. I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade my video card, and if so, how do I choose what kind of video card to get so that is supportable by my hardware settings? Aiming for an NVIDIA product, but if not possible ATI is fine
Possible laptop video card upgrade to play starcraft 2?
Hey everyone, I have a Compal JHT00 laptop which with its Nvidia Geforce 9300M GS 256MB can chug away at Starcraft 2 at barely passable FPS when every graphical setting is set to the lowest. Im an avid Starcraft gamer though and would love to be able to find another II MXM video card slot card to get that little bit of extra power to play this game.Could anyone here help me? My sister got a new laptop so I got her old one. Its okay i guess, or at least it was 5 years ago. Its a Toshiba Satellite A105. My parents refuse to get me a new laptop cuz they think that this one is " good enough" , so I was wondering if it is possible for me to upgrade the video card. The current card sucks. I've tried upgrading everything else that I know how to do, its got ram, I plan on getting a new hard drive off ebay, and I even upgraded to vista from xp media center edition . my graphics score is 2.6 and my gaming graphics score is 3.0, which is pretty bad, considering i am up to date with all my drivers and stuff.. so I was wondering if I could install an aftermarket videocard on my laptop to improve my base score and allow me to play the recent games that are coming out... I got street fighter 4 and it doesnt work on my laptop...

So i was wondering if the ASUS N61JQ X1 video card can be upgraded. I didn't by it yet but i was just wondering. Planning to get it for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
