Where can I go to shop for laptop video cards?
I finally want to fix my Asus G50VT laptop. The video card is dead but I am having a hard time searching for a site that sells laptop GPUs. It currently has the NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GS card in it. I want to upgrade it if possible. But I'll even just buy another. Can someone help me with a site to do this?
I need advice on laptop video cards/processors for WoW gaming?
I am shopping for a laptop strictly for grad school and WoW. I dont need the best graphics card, but I dont want the worst one. Same goes for the processor. " Respectable" is a good word to describe what I am looking for. What are some names and sizes of the graphics card and processors I should be targeting? The more detail the better, as I am not very tech savvy. Also, I am assuming that 4GB of RAM will be ok? Thanks.

Where can i get a GeForce or better laptop video card?
I need a better video card so that i can play some of the games i have on my computer. I play 3d games already and they run perfectly, but these 3 or 4 games are being very picky as to the video card being used. 2 of the games say they require a high strength GeForce video card to run them. I am using a HP laptop and so far i have been unable to find a GeForce video card for it. I am also unable to find out if the card in my laptop is replaceable or, if its not, a way to use a desktop video card and use it anyway. Any help on these subjects is much appreciated. thanks in advance
Did my laptop video card just die?!?!?
I was watching a video on the interwebz when my screen froze then slowly went dark. Afterwards, it had some trouble restarting and had to go through some repair thingy. When I was finally through the repair, I restarted the laptop normally. Everything appears like it would look like if I booted in safe mode 800 x 600 resolution, everything super zoomed in on web browsers, huge icons, blue tint to everything, etc. Whenever I do something that causes an action on the screen, such as move my mouse or type, horizontal reddish orange lines appear all over the screen. Here's a pic of my dxdiag and my desktop. My dxdiag shows nothing on the video card section now, before there was stuff there.img.photobucket.com albums v434 Jeffrothehoe diag.jpgimg.photobucket.com albums v434 Jeffrothehoe desktop.jpgWhat happened?

Will this laptop video card support a 23" monitor?
I have an MSI laptop with internal 813MB Intel 4 series express chipset family internal graphics card.I'm considering buying a 23" monitor with 1920x1080 resolution with either VGA or HDMI connector. Will my laptop support this or will it die if I try to use Photoshop or play a game with it?
How can i upgrade my laptops video card?
I have 2 games on my computer, Just Cause 2 and APB Reloaded. APB works, but the graphics card slows it down majorly, making it almost impossible to drive, hard to walk, and nearly impossible to aim the gun. Just Cause 2 doesn't work AT ALL. They both say that my video card is too low for the games to work properly. I have a HP G56 123NR laptop running windows 7. When i run DXDiag, the computer identifies the video card inside as Mobile Intel R 4 series express chipset family. apparently, the games such as APB and Just Cause both want a GeForce video card. So i have two questions... 1st is How do i upgrade my laptop if i can get a video card strong enough for these games for a laptop? And 2nd is Where can i get a GeForce video card strong enough to run these games on a laptop? Please help me and thanks to all in advance More Info IDK if its neccesary OS Windows 7 32 bitlaptop HP G56 123NR Notebookvideo card Mobile Intel R 4 series express chipset family with an estimated memory of 1309 MBdisplay size 1366x768 32 bit 60Hz processor Pentium dual core T4500direct X Direct X 11RAM 3072 mb

HP laptop video card "artifacts" I think?
I'm a computer noob, but hopefully I can explain this well. Whenever I stream a video lately, I get a black screen with perfectly straight white vertical lines, and I have to restart. Today it started doing this even without streaming, just with movies I play that are already on my PC. If I don't watch videos at all, everything's fine and it never does it. My brother hardcore gamer said my video card probably got overheated and if it gets damaged, it artifacts.I doubt it's the screen because I take care not to hurt it, but I was careless about keeping my computer cool when I played games... I've been keeping it elevated for months with the fan exposed and AC on in my room, but I probably damaged it a while ago before that. I only game lightly Zoo Tycoon really shouldn't have made my fan work as hard as it did... I also blow the dust out with a vacuum for extra precaution. I live in a very dusty farm town so a poof of dirt came out when I blew it, definitely didn't help having that dust in there...So, what can I do now? Warranty expired. Is this something relatively simple that I can do myself or pay a nearby tech savvy friend to fix? The model is Dv7 3065dx and the video card is Ati Radeon HD 3200 if that helps. I just have a feeling that it's not gonna be as simple as taking the bad one out and putting a new one in...Thanks for any advice.
