Laptop vs Netbook for College Computer Science Major?
i use MS Office Open Office twice a weeks, watch youtube, netflix and hulu every day, and play flash games maybe once a week i inend to major in Computer Science and from what ive seen Visual Studio does work, maybe a bit below average, Blue J i dont know how it will run. i dont know about any other compilers.heres the laptop i looked at amazon.com ASUS A52F X3 15 6 Inch Laptop Black dp B003UN6YUE ref sr 1 1?s pc& ie UTF8& qid 1285388623& sr 1 1as for netbook most of them are the same, but i would buy something around $250 300amazon.com Seashell 1001P PU17 BK 10 1 Inch Netbook Battery dp B00322PYXG ref sr 1 6?s STORE& ie UTF8& qid 1285539995& sr 1 6as far as dvds i havent had to use them, except to install visual studio, and if had to burn dc's i did it at home and it wasn't school relatedim in community college right now and i dont know if the will get more computer demanding when i transfer to a 4 year university so if any one has personal experience ... please let me know how it went
