Advent 5511 laptop webcam not working on yahoo?
i have new laptop and it's > > Advent 5511< < when i try to open the webcam on yahoo messenger..it didn't work..< it did open but it says " NOT CONNECTED" at the bottom and on the middle it says " Navigation to the webpage was canceled " and my friends can't see me on the cam ..so PLEASE help me do i have to download something to make the webcam work??or.. how do you fix this..i really don't know..please help step by step plz P
New HP pavillion laptop webcam not working?
I went to this link for Quickplay h10025.www1.hp.com ewfrf wc document?docname c00865850& cc us& lc en& dlc en& product 3376897& dlc en& lang en N513 to try to make it work. Thing is I couldn't find the record and snapshot button...Also tried to using windows movie maker and i tried to import from a DV source but it says it cannot find a device... either not plugged in or powered on...Thing is its a built inwebcam in the laptop and i have no idea what you have to press to turn it on...
HP laptop webcam not working?
Wont work on msn, or even on the computer when testing. It keeps saying We couldn't start your camera device. Please check that your camera is not currently in use by another program, and then try again.It was working fine, then all of a sudden after a month or so began doing this. I tried system restore, and it didn't work. I also don't know hot to unistall repair it on XP.
MSI A4000 laptop webcam not working?
i have an msi a4000 laptop and out of nowhere the webcam isn't working...i checked the device and it says it's working properly and the software is up to date. The light no longer flashes and it just keeps telling me to connect a camera. I don't know what else it could be.

Dell laptop webcam not working. Help!?
I have a Dell XPS M1330. I'll start from the beginning so you understand what I'm talking about.First, I noticed that my laptop kept making the " disconnecting connecting" sound. You know when you plus something into the USB port and it makes that " du dum" sound? I kept hearing that mostly when I move my laptop screen back and forth . Then, I noticed that the light beside the webcam lense kept flashing. The blue light would just go on quickly, then go back off. Another thing not sure if this part is related though... is that when I move my screen back and forth, the brightness changes. It'll just go really dull, then back to normal. It keeps flickering, and it's so annoying. From all this, I can see that I have something wrong with my laptop on the inside. I think maybe the lighting wire or something disconnected partially? As for the webcam, maybe my webcam disconnected. Does anyone have any idea what I could do to fix it?Going to get it professionally fixed is my last option, but please tell me if there's something I could do myself at home to fix my webcam.Thanks in advance

HP laptop webcam not working?
I'm borrowing my mom's laptop until I get a new one mine died last week . I hardly ever use the webcam I never used it on my laptop that I had for 3 years but one of my friends is going to Afghanistan so I'd like to be able to skype. This laptop is brand new, and it has a built in webcam. The only webcam program I can find is " CyberLink You Cam." But when I open it, it says that it was unable to connect with the HP webcam, and to try selecting another camera from the program's settings menu. But the only option under that meny is the HP cam obviously, since I don't have an external webcam , and selecting it doesn't work. Can someone tell me what's going on here? Any help appreciated
HP Laptop Webcam not working?
I have an HP G70 series laptop and for about a year now, the intergrated webcam has not been able to function at all. Everytime I open cyberlink youcam yoostar camera , it tells me " Cannot connect to this video device Yoostar Camera . Please select another capture device via Settings or close any application that may be using this video device and restart Youcam." It doesn't work completely, no matter what software I use it with AIM, MSN, ooVoo .Please do not tell me to go to device manager and click on imaging devices and uninstall the Yoostar camera, because I've already tried it and no luck. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks Yes, the drivers are the newest ones and they were installed correctly.

I just bought a HP G42 303DX and it has a built in webcam. I just installed windows 7 yesterday and now I was just curious to see how the webcam works and I open skype and it wont let me hit the webcam but like i dont have one. I went into device manager to see if i even had a webcam and theres nothing. I searched for it but nothing....anyone know what I can do?
