Help my laptop wont charge?! all tech help please?
So i got my new Alienware laptop m14x... about a month and a half or something..my chargers been working fine the whole time except today. when i go to my girlfriends house she has the same kinda of male charger so i jsut use hers to charge my laptop although it gives a less powerful voltage . I am not sure if thats bad for my laptop or if it doesnt matter it plugs in but doesnt charge when connected to hers, she has an HP and i a dell alienware ANYWAYS i go back to my dorm and plug it into my computer but it doesnt recognize it and wont charge or connect at all. i unplug all the charger equip wait for the LED light to turn off and plug it back in... troubleshoot for about 30 minutes and do everything possible short of taking my battery pack out and back in.shutdown my computer, and i go back to my girlfriends to see if its just my computer thats the problem cuz my charger seemed to work fine and light up... i plug it in to hers and it connects but doesnt charge normal sooo i then plug in my charger and it recognizes it and charges it..i just want to know what happened.. plugged in too much? overheat? or what please help
My dell laptop wont charge?
its plugged into the wall and the green light is on so there's nothing wrong with the cable, but it wont charge. the picture of the battery at the bottom of the screen says " plugged in, not charging" I've tried different outlets in my house but nothings working. my computer isn't even a year old yet.

At First i would have to move the charger around and keep it at a certain way for it to charge but now it wont charge at all. The Laptop works fine yet i don't know whats wrong with charging it. Do i need a New laptop or a new charger. What is going on? ?

ive had this laptop for a little over 3 years, now and it had repairs before on the mother board,to make it a long story short i got it replaced and now it is not charging...the orange battery icon under my mouse pad blinks and it turns on for a minute and then dies,i have tried that one bios option and no luck i also tried taking the battery out and cleaning it,so someone please help

my laptop won't charge or turn on but when i press down on the power button the light that indicates charge will blink until i stop pressing the button. Can someone tell me what's wrong please?

AAAAH my laptop is hp pavillion dv6 2010sa and it was charging fine, and everything was brill, and then i took my laptop off charge for a bit, to do work elsewhere, and when i plugged it in again, it wont charge, so i shut it down, and then as soon as i shut it down it charges, and its the same with sleep im not sure if its the charger or the battery because both work when its off...please help so basically, if my laptop is sleeping, or off, it charges fine, but as soon as i start it up, it stops....please help quickly, i need it to finish all my work thank you1
My laptop wont charge properly and i have to hold it a certain way in the port, any way this can be fixed?
the charging goes on and off and seriously over heats the charger tip, there is nothing wrong with the charger it works fine on my brothers laptop
My acer laptop wont charge?
I have had my laptop since oct of '10. It has been working good up until a couple days ago. When i plug the power cord in it shows that it is charging but then as soon as I unplug it a pop up comes on the screen saying it only has 6 % of power. I had it plugged in the entire night and it still did this. Also I just started using an HDMI cable and i was wondering if that could have anything to do with it.

i just took it to the geek squad to get the power fixed and i just got it back but it tells me the power cord is plugged in but it wont charge. is it possible i need to click on some option? and the power level just stays the same it never increases or decreases when plugged inya i forgot to add the powers staying at a constant 24 % if i take the power out it will decrease and i restarted my computer and it started doing these updates something about it couldent identify my adapter or something also my computeres a dell im not sure what model and the geek squad repaired the needle inside the computer the charger connects to cause it was loose and i dont think it has anything to do with the charger because it was working just fine before i got it repaired. also i am taking it back tomorrow and i have a warrinty on it so ya im not worried i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what was wrong cause i have no clue

when i start my laptop it says your ac adapter does not fit for this computer. i got this charger back in feb when my other one gave out and it never gave me a prob before so idk if its the charger or i need a new battery

Well I have a sony vaio and about a month back it stopped charging, so i sent it away and it came back as the charger being faulty. So i got a new one and it worked perfectly. untill i come home after being out tonight and plugged my charger in and it has no response. it just wont charge? I have put it on power saver but can ANYONE help asap? thanks

Battery wont charge. The icon states " Plugged in, not charging" . I updated the bios, ran a battery check It stated that the battery was in good health and have tried another HP charger, I have a DM4 with windows 7, 64 bit. Please Help

My Laptop Is Kind Old. I Have Like two Charges For It . So My Laptop Was Dead So I Tiredd Plugging It In & Nothing Happened . The battery for the charger light up on the cord but not my laptop. i really need it to work all of my projects are on there. my mom thinks it has to do with the part that plugs in ? its confusing . i dont know what to do . my moms gonna take it in next saturday ... help
