Dell laptop xp drivers help?!?
I had to reinstall xp on my friends laptop. He has a dell inspiron e1505 so this is what i need help with i know where to find the drivers i just cant find the correct drivers like theres 3 different options of drivers for me to download im just not sure which is which. Like i downloaded a audio driver and it said installing but there was a problem and the driver might not work. But when i tried listening to music i heard fine. But when i turned on the computer it said installing the driver wtf? so idk in the device manager for this computer i have yellow flags next to these Base System Device, Base System Device, Base System Device, Ethernet Controller, Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus, and Sm Bust controller? if anyone could help me find the correct drivers to fix this dell it would be appreciated ALOT lol. also i installed the network driver but sometimes the connection just goes out randomly but if i press repair it will fix real quick so is there any problem with that? please and thank you

I have windows xp on my toshiba laptop.. It has been working good for 1 year.. But unfortunately, today its not turning on.It shows the toshiba logo on turn on and asks if i want to start windows normally safe mode... and when i choose windows normally or safe mode it restarts ... I'm trying to format it to windows vista but after showing " windows is loading files" and the bar is filled a black screen comes and nothing happens.. I also tried to format it to windows xp but while loading files a blue screen comes and written on it " windows has detected an error and will restart" ...What should i do in order to turn it on At least i want to get the information i have on it I tried the safe mode and it does the same as start windows normally

How can i set up a network at home between my Windows Vista Laptop, XP Tower PC and Xbox 360?
I have recently picked up a Netgear gs105 ProSafe 5 port gigabit ethernet switch and it works fine for the use of one of them, however, i can't use the internet on two devices at a time and i have to turn the modem off and back on with only one device. What software do i need to set up a network so all three and possibly more devices can use my internet connection. My internet i use is strictly non wireless.

We had a power outage..i put my computor on as its a laptop with battery...for just sa few minutes, then a msg came to shut down my computor or it could crash..so i immediatly shut it..The little lights in fromt of closed laptop kept flashing..When I put my laptop on..it was a dark pink hue..then it gets normal color after a short while..I do not get any msgs saying that my battery is in trouble in any way..what could have happened during this outage of power?
How do you restore a hp laptop XP?
Apparently i got a virus and i was wondering how do you restore it back to its original settings brand new . My Laptop is an HP Pavilion dv1000 Laptop XP. and it wont allow me to do anything. i try going 2 control panel after i got to performance and maintenance then i try system, but when i press system it will pop up whatever it is suppose to and then it exits out and through this whole process a security warning pops up saying " Application cannot be executed. The file is infected. Do you want to activate your antivrus software now?" " yes" " no" and basically it wont do anything? how do i restore it back? i have a cd " application and driver recovery DVD" but idk how 2 use it, it doesn't do anything when i put it in? nothing works in my computer i try microsoft word, i try paint it will exit out repeating the same little message

Like I said in the question, I have a desktop computer running on Windows Vista and two laptops running on Windows XP. I have a Canon MP510 printer connected to my desktop computer. I want to know how to allow my laptops to use the printer without plugging and unplugging the USB cable on my printer.Additional info 1. Some people have told me about Wireless Home Networking. It would be great if anyone can help me out with that too.2. I also have a wireless internet router which they said would be helpful.ongtianhua .... your answer is great and very detailed. It did work out fine until I reached to the part where I needed to search for the printer on my laptops. It said " Windows cannot connect to the printer. Operation failed" or something like that. My printer is properly connected to my desktop computer and worked out fine when I tried printing with it. Do you think you can help me with that?

i can install both but my laptop is from 20051gb ram2 ghz processor5400 rpm hddbut i figure with win 7 readyboost i can use my 2gb flashdrive to make it faster....what u think?
