My computer freezes every half hour, only when I'm on the internet, what's wrong with my HP laptop?
I tried everything except carry to the tech im broke' Thanks Riley, I will try that, but I want to know how to clean the viruses...I have the latest norton but I guess it doesnt work

I might have to get a new laptop. I have an HP which I really liked, but after only having it for two years, I broke the LED from opening the screen too far. which laptops would you suggest? I am not a fan of apple and I really don't like the widescreen PCs. I'm not terribly computer savvy either so nothing too complicated

Power Issues with my laptop?
Okay, so my laptop battery is dead. I did the battery check and everything. I've known it's been dead for a while but never got a replacement. Well, lately my power has had problems so I decided to get a new battery. I've always been running on A C power but lately my computer loses power for no reason. The charger doesn't have a light on it since it's on my computer instead and that light is always on. I have no trouble getting my computer to start with the A C power and the times I lose power are random. Sometimes it's a few hours and sometimes it's much less.Anyway, this new battery didn't work. I got it off ebay and I'm certain I checked compatibility. I left the battery charging and tried to turn on the laptop with battery power only but it would not boot although it would turn on.So then I got a new charger too and that didn't work either. The computer would turn on and boot, but then suddenly lose power I tried this without a battery inserted . I also got this off ebay.Should I buy an official HP battery and charger? Is it because they're generic that they didn't work? My main concern is that I don't know if my computer is having problems with the charger or if it's something else in regards to this power loss problem. When it shuts off, it doesn't shut down or restart. It just loses power. However, immediately after I can press the power button and it'll boot normally. I haven't had any trouble booting or starting my computer. The only issue I seem to have is this random loss of power.I have an HP G60 120US. I bought it in 2008. It's running off Windows Vista Service Pack 2.I don't think it's a heating problem because the surface of my laptop is never hot. I also have a chill pad under my laptop and I recently cleaned both my chill pad and my laptop's fan with compressed air. The problems started before I cleaned them both and still persist even after I cleaned them.

Why wont my laptop connect?
My laptop has been working fine,until today,I try to connect to the internet which it normally does automatically and. it said 'limited access'however i know its not the router as of my computer downstairs will connect to it I've tried turning the router on and off,restarting the laptop etc but nothing. worksThanks x
How to reset bios password of asus f3e series laptop ?
I have asus f3e series laptop, my laptop was repaired using hot equipment by a technician and normally they took out the cmos battery, the problem accured again so they did the same thing and now when I turn the computer on It says " enter the password" I don'T know what is the password also I didn't set it. I tried the reset button, and removing the cmos battery for a while but non of them worked.

Which laptop is better?
I want to get a new laptop but I've been hearing other opinions from people all over. People Say HP laptop sucks but to be honest I can't get anything over 600 dollars. Ive been looking for a laptop that doesnt make any loud fan noise and runs very well with games such as RPG games. I looked at 2 laptops that looks pretty decent to me. An HP Pavilion dv7 4171us or an HP Pavilion dv6z quad edition series. Which one is better ? Please tell me your opinion.
Laptop speakers won't work?
My laptop speakers suddenly stopped working. They just won't make sound. If I plug in headphones, those work. But not the built in speakers. Help?
