Choosing A Laptop Homepage

Question: Is this mac laptop worth it?

My friend has a powerbook g4 for sale for $300.Its 15 inches and 1 gb of ram and a 60 gb hard drive.The drive is cdrw\dvd and it needs a new battery.Should I purchase it?

Not really, that is pretty much the going price though. It uses the older PPC processors and the new versions Of MacOS X won't work on it. The best it could run would be Tiger 10.4. The 60 GB hard drive is very small, you need at least a150 GB or better. And a battery is $129, and I am guessing he won't include the backup disks.

$300 seems a little steep.. especially since it has to be out of warranty and a new battery will cost you $129. Keep saving and buy something newer.

No three letters...M-A-C the first thing i think of with mac is cheese...when i think of cheese i think of a fart...which smells bad...that stinks bad....like mac's laptops.

For that much you could buy a brand new netbook with better specs, Its not worth buying this one.
