Question: Are there any laptops that don't get hot?

Heat and laptops come hand in hand. The problem lies in the fact that there's such a small space. If you look at a desktops fan and heatsink it's huge, and that in conjunction with case fans keep the desktops cooler, but there's just no room in a laptop for proper cooling. Best thing to do is find a good quality cooling station and go with that.

No, but you can use a external fan under the laptop which helps...

They all get hot. Make sure you keep the laptop cool or it will overheat (put it on a flat, smooth surface, like a table)

No. do not set it on your lap. get a cooling station. if you do not it will not last near as long as you would like . make sure your cooling station fits the design of your laptop. some laptops vent from the bottom to the back and some vent from the back to the bottom etc. make sure the station you buy has the air flowing in the right direction. you do not want to be blowing air into the bottom of your laptop if the laptop is sucking in air from the bottom . make sure the station is not covering up your fan vents and is allowing sir to get in . they are cheap . a real good one should be around 40 bucks . Dont buy a cheap one .
