Question: What do i do if the screen part of my laptop wont stay up?

It either closes all the way or opens wide open. i support it with a book in the back. how do i fix it? what can i use so i dont need to support it?

Look around the laptop their might be screws on the sides or the bottom tighten the screws up and their you go

I would suggest that you take it to a place where you'd be able to get it looked at and repaired, such as a place like the Geek Squad. Perhaps your laptop has a broken hinge or something like that.
