Question: Virus on my laptop? (fakealert-ww.sec.b)?

I had a "fake alert " virus on my laptop..rogue programs? but mcafee caught it..this was like 3 days ago and now this fake alert virus popped up again & mcafee blocked it...how and why is this happening? I visit the same sites all the time, Is there still some sort of spyware on my LP? If I lockdown my firewall will that stop the viruses? thank you I mean...if I lockdown my firewall everytime I leave my laptop will that stop viruses?? And also, im using a private wireless connection..(comcast/ belkin)..and the router is connected to my brothers computer and he has viruses! thank you @ The King & Amber - you'll actually read lol unlike others! |
