Question: How do you make the heart symbol on my dell laptop?

I'm trying to make the heart symbol NOT this: <3 i want this; ♥ it won't let me.. i've tried using alt and 3..anything. i want to do it on my keyboard! not using the character map! i have a dell inspiron 15.. thanks( :

Hold down alt and press 3 (use the numbers on the right side of your key-board) also: ☺ alt 1 ☻ alt 2 ♥ alt 3 ♦ alt 4 ♣ alt 5 ♠ alt 6 • alt 7 ◘ alt 8 ○ alt 9 ◙ alt 10 ♂ alt 11 ♀ alt 12 AWSOME ones: ▌ alt 221 ▄ alt 220 ▀ alt 223 █ alt 987 » alt 2223 « alt 2222 i hope it helped u! ☺

♥ press the ALT button hold it like a shift key while your press the 3 that is located on teh numeric keypad. ALT+ 3 The number 3 at the top row above the letters will not work you must use the numeric keypad buttons for the numbers
