Question: Laptop coling fan need help?

My laptop coling fan was not working so i got one from ebay but the case was too small but everything on the sticker was the same eg 5v 0.22 ect.. sony vaio PCG 9B3M so i removed the insides and put into the case and it was not working it worked before but was too small to screw back in. can anyone help like can you just buy the inside part its a small round circuit with looks like copper wire ontop and fan blades
