Question: Speech recognition makes my windows 7 laptop freeze!?

I decided to try and use speech recognition on my laptop the other day, but it didn't work very well. The next time I turned it on it kept freezing as the speech recognition kept trying to load! It occasionally works, but most of the time I have to force log- off because it just won't do anything. I've tried looking under the control panel, but can't find anything to turn it off! My laptop's brand new with a big hard drive and 4GB of RAM, so it shouldn't be because my laptop is outdated or anything, and as far as I'm aware it has no viruses or anything. Please help ASAP - I need my laptop for college work! |
